Chapter 335 Can’t we just support each other commercially?
At that moment, Hugo walked over to where First was sitting, rolled up his sleeves, and began preparing tea.
Seeing this, everyone else gathered around to watch.
Hugo glanced up at them, a slight smile playing on his lips, exuding an indescribable elegance and grace with every move.
He poured boiling water into the teapot, quickly emptied it, and then refilled it. His precise movements during the “Phoenix
Three Points” technique looked very professional.
He sealed the pot, distributed the cups, poured the tea, and offered it. His well–defined hands made the entire process a
visual delight.
As they looked at the tea in front of them, everyone paused for a moment.
“Give it a taste,” Hugo suggested.
Scarlett was the first to pick up her cup and take a sip.
The three little ones followed suit, and after tasting it, Fourth looked at Hugo with admiration. “Daddy, I didn’t know you
could do this. You make it look even more elegant than the teacher did!”
Hugo’s smile widened slightly. “It’s been a while since I last made tea. I’m a bit rusty!”
“No way, Daddy, you’re amazing!” Fourth gazed at Hugo as if he were a hero.
Hugo chuckled and then turned to her. “Making tea can be quite calming, Fourth. Maybe watch fewer idol dramas and
enjoy some tea instead!”
Fourth said, “Dad, I’ve been praising you all along. Can’t we just compliment each other for once?”
“It’s for your own good!”
“Got it!” Fourth replied.
At that moment, Hugo glanced over at First and Second, who were sitting quietly, looking every bit like young gentlemen.

“What about you two? Do you like it here?” Hugo asked, sipping his tea.
First nodded, “It’s alright.”
“And what does ‘alright‘ mean?”
“Alright‘ means everything here is great, except there’s no Scarlett!” First said, giving a knowing look before taking a slow
sip of tea.
Hugo listened, glancing at First, who didn’t deny it.
Shifting his gaze, Hugo spoke, “Adults need their space too. You’re all grown up now, and you should start thinking more
about your own lives. As for what you’re worried about, don’t worry, I’ll take care of it for you!”
First was silent.
Second was silent.
Fourth was silent.
Dad, do you really think we don’t see through your “hidden agenda“? Why bother sounding so noble?
First watched him with a dignified smile, choosing not to say more. Saying too much might strain the father–son bond…
Just then, William and Old Hodges came out, bickering.
“It’s a great day today, so I’ll let you win this time. I won’t argue with you!” William said, hands clasped behind his back as
he walked out.
Old Hodges, leaning on his cane, couldn’t help but retort, “Oh, Old Adler, you’re letting someone win? After all these years,
have you finally grown a conscience?”
“Old Hodges, you-”
“You said it yourself, you’re letting me win, don’t forget that!” Old Hodges seized the opportunity.
For the first time, William found himself at a loss for words.

In the living room, everyone sat quietly, watching the two bicker as if it were a normal occurrence, exchanging amused
glances.
At that moment, Scarlett gave Fourth a knowing look. Fourth nodded and then addressed them.
“Great–grandfather, Grandfather!”
The gentle call immediately halted the bickering duo, who turned their heads to look.
Upon seeing Hugo and Scarlett, Old Hodges seemed to forget the argument entirely and quickly approached. “Scarlett’s
here!”
“Grandpa He!” Scarlett stood up and greeted him warmly.
Grandpa He walked over, looking at her. “So, how do you like the place?”
“It’s nice, very charming!” Scarlett replied with a smile.
“Ah, I fell in love with this place the moment I saw it. I always thought it would be perfect for retirement!” he said, glancing
back at William. “Now, my wish has finally come true!”
William walked over, joining the conversation. “I spotted this place first, you know. If you hadn’t barged in, it would have
been mine alone!”
Grandpa He chuckled and replied, “Old man, why are you so petty? I only wanted to join you so you wouldn’t be lonely.
Isn’t it lively enough now with everyone here?”
William couldn’t help but laugh. “Yes, yes, it’s lively!” His words were teasing, yet filled with joy.
Everyone watched the exchange and chuckled.
“Come on, let’s head to the main hall!” William suggested.
Everyone nodded and followed him.
In the living room, laughter and chatter filled the air, creating a lively atmosphere.

Just then, Uncle Evans approached. “Sir, there are quite a few people outside here to congratulate you on your new
home!”
Old Mr. Hodges frowned upon hearing the news and said, “No, send them all back. Today is a family gathering, no
guests!”
Uncle Evans nodded in agreement, “Yes, I understand!”
At this moment, Scarlett spoke up, “Grandpa Hodges, I did invite a friend today…”
“Those are business folks, and I don’t have the energy to deal with them today. Friends are different. Friends are here to
share joy, of course, they should come!” Mr. Hodges replied.
Scarlett smiled and nodded.
“Scarlett, even though Old Adler and I bought this house together, half and half, I must admit I benefited from his
reputation. So, technically, you and your grandpa are the rightful owners. I’m just tagging along. So, if you have any ideas,
no need to consult me, just make your own decisions,” Mr. Hodges said.
“Oh no, this is the home of both elders, I should listen to you!” Scarlett replied.
Mr. Hodges listened, his face full of smiles, utterly pleased with Scarlett.
She never flaunted her talents, but when the occasion called for it, she never lacked presence. She was the perfect
candidate for the future leader of the Hodges Family.
Thinking about this, Mr. Hodges felt very satisfied. It was fortunate he managed to step in, or else where would this
opportunity be now!
At that moment, First asked, “Mom, who did you invite?”
“Tara Green.”
Hearing this, the three little ones lit up with excitement.
“Tara moved to our place just for you guys, and now that you’ve moved out, she’ll be so bored alone!” Scarlett said.

Although that was true, Scarlett knew well about their relationship with Tara. First had a feeling Scarlett had another
reason for inviting Tara over, but he couldn’t quite figure it out….
Just then, Grandpa chimed in, “In that case, she should come atay at our house. We have plenty of rooms, and the more,
the merrier.”
“Is that okay?” First asked, glancing at Scarlett.
Scarlett smiled and replied, “Well, that depends on whether Tara wants to.”
First thought for a moment. He had something to take care of in a couple of days, and if Tara came, it would be quite
convenient.
With that in mind, he said, “I’ll give her a call and see where she is!” With that, First got up and went to make the call.
At the same time, Hugo Hodges‘ phone rang, and he answered it immediately.
“Hello.”
“Boss, we’ve got the info. Their last batch is scheduled for tomorrow night.”
Upon hearing this, Hugo turned and walked away, deep in thought.
