She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 134

If it weren’t for Shana, he never would have lost the legendary title of Gambling Deity. All of this—every bit of humiliation—was her fault.

Shana, still sprawled on the floor from the slap, stared at Hector in shock. She’d been defending him, hadn’t she? And this was her reward? He didn’t even care for her help, but to hit her?

Shana’s eyes filled with hurt as she glanced up at Hector. But when she met his murderous glare, she quickly lowered her head, slipped off the stage, and did her best to become invisible.

Sabrina let out a cold laugh. “So Hector hits women now, does he? Tsk, tsk.”

She wasn’t standing up for Shana out of kindness—she just wanted to push Hector’s buttons, to make sure he’d think twice before crossing her again.

Was it good to have an enemy like him out in the open? Absolutely. It would only deepen the rift between the Watsons and the Harpers. And as for the business up north—Sabrina had always suspected the Watson family was involved, but she still lacked hard evidence.

Frankly, letting scum like this walk away was already more mercy than they deserved.

Sabrina pressed on, her voice sharp. “So where’s the contract?”

The tension in the room was palpable, threatening to spiral out of control, so Celia stepped forward to smooth things over. After all, the next round of wagers was still to come.

Meanwhile, the guests below the stage were thoroughly entertained, their faces alight with gossip and excitement. This was better than any reality show on TV.

As Sabrina and Hector stepped down from the stage, Burt materialized in front of them.

“Ladies and gentlemen,” he announced, “please remember the rules of Siren’s Club. You must honor your bets, or by club tradition, we’ll be taking a leg from the loser.”

Hector’s heart skipped a beat. He’d almost forgotten about Siren’s Club’s infamous rules.

He shot a furious glare at his bodyguard.

The bodyguard got the message and hurried off, only to return moments later, shaking his head.
