Standing in the crowd, Celine could hardly believe her eyes.
Did she really just hit Elena?
God.
Had she lost her mind?
Didn’t she realize Dylan and her dad were close friends?
If her dad found out, he’d definitely be furious.
Celine wanted to step forward and defend Elena, to at least say something on her behalf.
At that moment, Sabrina let go of the rope and tossed out a cold ultimatum.
“All of you need to apologize to me in front of the whole school. If you don’t, I’ll keep coming until you do. Tomorrow, I want to hear your apologies.”
With that, she turned and strode away, leaving the crowd with just a glimpse of her cool, unbothered back.
Everyone: “……”
Celine: “……”
“Whoa, never seen anything like this before. Five against one, and she still comes out on top.”
“What happened, anyway? Why did Sabrina go after them?”
“From what I heard, Elena posted those anonymous rumors about Sabrina on the school forum and the campus app.”
“Makes sense. Elena’s friends with Celine. She probably did it to help Celine by smearing Sabrina.”
“No wonder. I’d be furious too if I heard people spreading lies about me.”
“Actually, I heard it was Sabrina’s own friend who broke the story, and Elena just spread it further. No one really knows what’s true except the people involved.”
“I don’t believe any of those rumors. If Sabrina was really like that, with her skills, who would dare cross her?”
“Exactly. Remember at the start of the semester, there were similar rumors? That whole incident with the so-called ‘Petersburg Four’—they got beat up, supposedly for the same reason. Seems like someone’s always out to get Sabrina.”
“Now that you mention it, I agree. Every rumor always paints her in the worst light. I’m starting to suspect something’s up.”
One student glanced around, lowering their voice.
