She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 184

She knew perfectly well that if she kept standing here, frozen and indecisive, things would only spiral further out of control, leaving her even more humiliated in the end.

She pulled her clothes on quickly, then called out to her teammates, “Get dressed, hurry up, let’s just finish the jump and get out of here.”

No sooner had the words left her lips than she leaped to the front of the group, springing into action with graceful, athletic energy.

Whitney, Elena, and Tiffany didn’t hesitate; they scrambled into their costumes and followed, each jumping along behind her.

Only Celine was left standing alone, rooted to the spot, painfully out of place and awkward.

A crowd had gathered, and all eyes were on her—curious, amused, some openly mocking. Their stares felt like a thousand tiny needles prickling her skin, making her whole body tense with discomfort.

Watching her teammates disappear into the distance, Celine’s heart raced with panic. There had always been someone to shield her, someone to step up and take the heat, but now she was utterly alone.

She bit her lip hard, steeling herself. With trembling hands, she fumbled into her costume and, almost blindly, joined the others.

At the main entrance to the campus, five figures—each dressed in a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles suit—were frog-jumping their way through the crowd, awkward and desperate to finish.

There were boos and bursts of raucous laughter, a smattering of cheers and enthusiastic clapping, shrill whistles piercing the air—all of it swirling around them in a cacophony of sound.

But beneath the roar, all they could feel was the sting of ridicule and the weight of contempt.

Phones were everywhere—some snapping photos, others recording videos.

If there’d been a crack in the pavement, they would have gladly vanished into it. For Celine and Whitney, the embarrassment was almost unbearable.

They were Petersburg High’s reigning queens, adored by half the male student body, idolized as untouchable dream girls. They’d always seemed above the fray, dazzling and aloof, with crowds of admirers hanging on their every word.

But now, in this humiliating moment, their carefully cultivated image had crumbled—completely and utterly destroyed.
