She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 224

While Bruce was silently grumbling to himself, Shawn had already pressed his head to the crack in the door, peering inside.

Bruce and Neil had never seen their boss look so shifty and suspicious—like a burglar casing a place. They exchanged glances, both bewildered, then obediently lined up behind Shawn.

But there was nothing to be seen through the crack.

Shawn turned, casting a glance back at the two of them. His eyes lingered on Bruce, silent but loaded with meaning.

Bruce instantly understood—he was being looked down on, yet again.

“Go see who’s inside,” Shawn muttered.

He could only glimpse two vague figures: one dancing, the other sitting. The dancer looked like Uliana.

And the one playing piano… was that Celine?

That phony angel?

Shawn instantly lost interest. Such beautiful music shouldn’t come from someone so vile. It tainted the purity of the melody.

With his long legs, Shawn strode away without another word, Bruce and Neil scrambling to catch up.

That evening, back home—

Sabrina strolled into her grandmother’s garden. Octavia beamed at the sight of her. “Sabrina, you’re just in time for dinner.”

Marina hurried off to set another place at the table.

Sabrina smiled, her voice light. “The food here always smells so wonderful, Grandma.”

It was the truth. Meals at her grandmother’s house were always prepared with special care—and best of all, no one here brought any trouble or drama.

A few gentle words from Sabrina and Octavia was delighted beyond measure.
