She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 30

He’d searched desperately for this man, but the truth was, so few people knew about such private matters.

He’d even started running nightclubs and brothels, thinking that if the man was a lecher, maybe he could just wait for him to show up. Ten years slipped by.

Not a single trace.

It was as if the man had simply vanished from the face of the earth.

With all his power—connections in both the underworld and the upper echelons of society—Samuel still couldn’t find him. Would this young woman sitting before him know something he didn’t?

And how had she learned about his wife and daughter?

Samuel was a cautious man; he never made a deal that didn’t turn a profit. But when it came to his family, he couldn’t help but take it seriously.

Sabrina noticed the shift in his mood and sensed his suspicion. She knew Samuel would move heaven and earth to find this man. These days, Samuel lacked for nothing—except the chance to take revenge with his own hands.

She kept her expression perfectly neutral, and Samuel quickly reined in his emotions. For a moment, he considered calling off the wager altogether. He just couldn’t believe she’d have any chance of beating him. If she lost... well, the penalty was steep. He couldn’t break his own rules, not in front of so many witnesses. There’d be no fixing the outcome.

What did this girl want from him, anyway? He was genuinely curious.

He finally spoke. “Ms. Sutton, what is it you want?”

Sabrina tapped her fingers lightly on the table and answered without hesitation, “Three hundred million.”

Her voice was so soft that only Samuel, sitting across from her, could hear. Even the host nearby missed it.

She knew she was asking for a lot—no sense pretending otherwise. She had to prepare for every possibility. Soon, Marshall would become the wealthiest man in Port City. If she wanted to bring him down, she’d need power—serious financial power. There was no other way to knock him from his gilded pedestal.

She never expected she’d have to make her fortune this way.

In her previous life, her legendary gambling skills had only ever been used to help Marshall. And in the end, he was the one who sent her to prison with his own hands.

“Deal,” she replied crisply.

In three years, Marshall would be the most powerful man in Port City. This was her chance. Revenge shouldn’t come easy for her enemies. She wanted to watch them suffer—slowly, excruciatingly.

Samuel watched her fall silent, worried she might back out. He tried to persuade her further. “If you think three hundred million isn’t enough, I can add another property somewhere else. We can negotiate.”

For Samuel, this was a major concession—driven only by his desire to finally learn the whereabouts of his enemy. The bitterness in his heart was hard to swallow. After all these years, he finally had a lead. He couldn’t let it slip away.

He never imagined he’d end up at such a disadvantage.

Sabrina hadn’t expected Samuel to throw in a piece of land too. An unexpected bonus.

Three hundred million and a property? She could barely contain her delight.

This was one hell of a deal.
