She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 35

Early the next morning.

When the alarm blared, Celine had no choice but to get out of bed.

Today was the day she’d finally put Sabrina in her place—no matter how tired she felt, there was no way she’d miss the chance to dress up for the occasion.

Her mood was more than a little triumphant.

She slipped into the latest pink princess dress from Chanel, her long hair falling in soft waves past her shoulders. She looked every bit the picture of innocence.

A rough night’s sleep had left dark circles and a few blemishes, so she applied her makeup a bit heavier than usual, blending away any trace of fatigue.

She spun in front of the mirror, examining herself from every angle.

Yes—utterly flawless.

Just picturing Sabrina arriving at the birthday party in some awkward, outdated outfit made Celine’s smile widen.

It would be a scene no one would forget.

Everyone in their social circle would laugh at her—clueless, tasteless, an embarrassment. Then maybe someone would push her into the pool for good measure, just to wake her up to reality.

Sabrina, brace yourself for the storm.

Very soon, you’ll be the talk of high society—the shame of the Sutton family.

The thought of Sabrina’s humiliation filled Celine with delight.

Humming a cheerful tune, she opened her bedroom door and headed downstairs.

In the living room, Sommer’s eyes sparkled with pride as she took in her daughter’s carefully curated look.

“Morning, Mom. Morning, Dad,” Celine sang out sweetly.

She flashed her parents a radiant smile, her spirits soaring.

Sommer couldn’t help admiring her daughter’s lovely appearance. “Heading out with friends today?”

“No, Mom. I’m taking Sabrina out—we’re going to a friend’s birthday party together.”

Her gentle response melted Sommer’s heart.

Not only was her daughter beautiful, she was thoughtful and kind as well.
