She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 51

Sabrina arched a brow, her tone cool and detached. “Can I help you?”

Uliana bristled at Sabrina’s icy indifference, her annoyance barely concealed.

No wonder Celine never dared speak up—who knows what kind of treatment she endured at home?

“Well, look who it is—the country bumpkin herself, scarfing down steak like she’s never seen real food in her life. Honestly, watching you eat is enough to ruin anyone’s appetite. Hey, you. Get up!”

Hearing the commotion, the manager rushed over with a strained smile. “Good afternoon, Miss Linden.”

Uliana lifted her chin with a sneer, waving a manicured finger at him.

“Is anyone allowed in Ogilly’s Steakhouse now? This is supposed to be a high-end place, not some roadside diner. People like her lower the tone of the whole restaurant. Do you really think she belongs here?”

She shot Sabrina a cutting glare.

“Oh, and let’s not forget—you’ve rummaged through dumpsters for scraps, slept under bridges, shared your bed with rats. How does someone as filthy as you have the nerve to eat here? Get out before you contaminate the place.”

Around the restaurant, diners turned to look. Some gave Sabrina disdainful glances; others wrinkled their noses in disgust.

The manager looked deeply uncomfortable. This wasn’t the kind of establishment that ever turned away paying customers.

“Miss Linden, she’s already dining here, and I see nothing inappropriate about it. If I may…” His voice trailed off.

Sabrina was well-dressed, carrying herself with poise, her clothes all designer labels. What on earth made Ms. Linden think she didn’t belong here?

Even if she was from the countryside, didn’t she have just as much right to enjoy a steak as anyone else?

Kicking out a guest was simply out of the question.

The manager kept his thoughts to himself, but the injustice gnawed at him.

“She looks broke to me,” Uliana spat, folding her arms. “If she skips out on the bill, are you going to cover it?”
