Lacy scrambled to her feet, glaring daggers at Sabrina.
She wanted to fire off a few insults, but with a teacher present—and still smarting from the slap—she thought better of it.
Her voice was sharp and accusatory, but she managed not to curse.
“We’re just telling the truth! What, you think you’re so tough that no one’s allowed to talk back? You hit us just because we said a few things? We didn’t even get a chance to fight back! I’m warning you—my dad won’t let this slide.”
Other students in the crowd quickly chimed in.
It was true—Sabrina had thrown the first punch.
Kyson looked hesitant. The kids who’d been hit weren’t going to let this go.
He shot Sabrina a sympathetic glance.
She’d just transferred here, and now it looked like she’d be expelled on her very first day.
Sabrina swept a cold gaze over the room.
She strode back to her seat, tossing out a challenge as she went: everyone who’d insulted her owed her an apology.
And she wanted those apologies before the end of the day.
If they didn’t apologize, she’d have no problem teaching them another lesson.
Anyone who still had a problem with her was welcome to try their luck.
Kyson had never met a girl this brazen—except maybe for Shawn, the notorious school bully. The two of them would make quite the pair.
She’d beaten up half the class and was still swaggering.
Kyson knew his own voice wouldn’t carry much weight, so he hurried to report the incident.
The school administration took it seriously, not wasting a moment before calling the parents of everyone involved.
As soon as the parents heard their kids had been attacked at school, they rushed to the office. Within the hour, every parent of a student who’d been hit was there.
Some of them were so furious they looked ready to lunge at Sabrina, but the security guards and staff managed to hold them back.
