She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 75

Celine put on a convincing mask of worry, though it was all an act.

“Are you all serious? My sister actually hit someone? I don’t believe it.”

“No, really! The story’s all over campus. The kids she hit are in the principal’s office right now, demanding justice.”

At that, Celine’s shoulders trembled and her eyes filled with tears in an instant.

“How could she do something like this? Does she think everyone is as easy to push around as me, that she can just—” She caught herself, snapping her mouth shut.

The others stared at her, mouths agape.

“Wait! Celine, don’t tell me that bruise on your forehead was Sabrina’s doing?!”

Celine immediately looked panicked, shaking her head hard.

“No, no, it’s not Sabrina’s fault. I was just careless, that’s all…”

But the more she denied it, the more convinced they became that Sabrina was responsible.

“Oh, Celine, you’re such a sweetheart—it’s no wonder she picks on you. She’s a nightmare of a sister, and you still defend her!”

Uliana slung an arm around Celine’s shoulders. Her earlier anger over being lied to melted away the moment she saw her friend’s miserable situation in the Sutton family. Now, worry replaced all resentment.

Elena had overheard Celine’s words and couldn’t hold back her outrage.

“Are we really surprised? We’ve all seen what she’s capable of. Sabrina starting a fight is nothing new.”

“Just wait,” she went on. “The kids she hit—none of their families are pushovers. They’re going to make her pay, and maybe that’s what she deserves for what she’s done to us.”

Uliana clenched her fists. Every time she remembered Sabrina dumping food on her at Ogilly’s Steakhouse, she seethed with rage. She wished those parents would have Sabrina arrested—then she’d have plenty of ways to make her suffer.

Two hours later—

With Sabrina’s parents still nowhere to be found, the teachers decided to take the injured students to the hospital themselves.
