She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 98

He paused, waiting, as the girl with the air of a princess walked toward him, step by step.

The sunlight was a little too bright for Sabrina, making her squint as she shielded her eyes.

She glanced away, checked the time, and decided to head back to the classroom to study.

At the entrance to the main academic building, Sabrina found herself face-to-face with Celine and her usual entourage.

Sabrina acted as if she hadn’t even noticed them, striding toward the building without breaking her pace.

As she passed Celine, she hesitated for just a moment.

Her cool, unreadable gaze drifted over the group—light and dismissive.

It was almost mocking.

Almost amused.

Almost scornful.

“Well, no matter how hard you try, a fake will never be the real thing.”

Sabrina tossed the words over her shoulder, no context, no explanation.

Celine froze, her expression faltering, jealousy and resentment flickering in her eyes.

Uliana, Elena, and Tiffany all went pale in unison.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Tiffany asked, genuinely confused.

“She’s making fun of us for hanging out with the imposter, isn’t she?” Elena blurted out, then realized her slip and quickly turned to Celine. “Sorry, Celine, I didn’t mean you.”

“It’s fine,” Celine replied, giving a gentle, understanding smile.

Uliana mulled over Sabrina’s words, certain they were aimed at someone in particular.

Everyone already knew about Celine’s secret—that she wasn’t the real daughter—so there was no need to spell it out.

While they were still puzzling over it, Tiffany suddenly clapped a hand over her mouth in shock. “Wait—do you think she knows about the little tricks we’ve been playing behind her back?”

Uliana’s eyes went wide. “Could be. Judging by her tone and the way she looked at us, I’d bet she’s figured it out.”

Elena rolled her eyes. “What is she, psychic? How would she know something we’ve hidden so well?”
