She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 99

Memories from her past life surged up—everything she’d suffered, every betrayal. She couldn’t let him get away with an easy death. Not after all that.

She forced herself to swallow her hatred. When she opened her eyes again, all that remained was a cold, indifferent glare.

Across from her, the man finally spoke. “You’re Celine’s sister. I know the Suttons and the Harpers arranged this marriage, but I would never marry someone like you.” Marshall’s words were sharp, cutting through the air.

Just thinking about how Celine endured her bullying every day stoked the fire in his chest. He was desperate to marry Celine as soon as possible. As long as she became part of the Harper family, no one would dare hurt her.

“Even if you’re Desmond’s real daughter and Celine’s just adopted, I don’t care about her background,” he added, watching the silent girl across from him. He assumed his rejection must have humiliated her.

But in the next moment, Sabrina’s voice rang out, as cold and piercing as ice. “And you think you deserve it? A cheater and a fake angel—what a perfect match.” Contempt curled at the corner of her lips.

“Don’t worry. You and Celine—you’ll be together for life. In life and in death.” With that, Sabrina turned on her heel and strode away.

So Marshall and Celine had been scheming together all along. What had made Marshall suddenly decide to marry her, though? Of course—it was Grandmother’s shares in the company. Sabrina laughed bitterly to herself. How blind she’d been, never seeing through their plot.

Marshall was stunned by her venom. For a moment, his mind went blank. He was certain this was the first time he’d ever met Sabrina—so how could she look at him with such hatred, and speak to him like that? Her eyes burned with vengeance, with anger, with a murderous coldness. He’d expected her to be hurt, to cry, to be humiliated. But she showed none of it.

He turned and watched her disappear around the staircase. A chill ran down his spine. Her gaze was just too cold.
