Amelia’s pov

The moment those words leave his lips and brushed my ears, everything seems to just go still. The air, the roaring of the waterfall even the pounding of my very own heart seem to just go faint.

Everything blurs until there’s only him, his breath, his heart pounding against my chest, his scent, the sounds of his rough breathing. It was only him.

I’ve already fallen.

Words I didn’t know would make me feel so….warm.

“Raiden,” I whisper, my eyes still closed as my voice comes out nothing but a shaky whisper. Breathless. Like he had nearly made me speechless.

I opened my eyes then, slowly, as if trying to bask in this feeling, his words for the longest I can.

To my surprise Raiden is already staring at me. His eyes boring into my soul deeply with the look one would give to someone they cherish.

My heart pounds.

It’s like he was stripping me bare, stripping away all the veils I had wrapped around me. Stripped away the tough exterior.

He was stripping me down to the core with his intense gaze.

“Amelia,” he whispers, his breath fanning warmly against my lips. Despite the water being cold at first, right now the warmth of Raiden was warming me up.

I can’t help it anymore. The way my name rolled off his tongue like a silent prayer made the little restraint I had left, crack.

In a second my lips have landed on his, taking them into a sweet kiss that made me shudder. I could feel every naked inch of his body pressing against mine as the water swirls around us.

His lips move against mine with a desperation that made my heart rate quicken. And when his tongue snaked into my mouth to taste me, I nearly came.

I grasp his shoulders and when it wasn’t enough I dig my fingers into his wet strands and earn a sweet groan from him.

The sound vibrated through me and I moan.

“Amelia,” he whispered, his fingers pressing into the skin of my waist as I wrap my legs around his waist.

“I want you,” I gasp, feeling a pulse between my legs. I did. I wanted him so badly.

His body goes still for just a moment as if he was making sure he had heard right. He pulls away a little to look down at me and our eyes clashed.

They’re red. Deep deep red.

His chest was rising and falling sharply. “Say it again baby,” he rasps, his head dipping once more so that his lips could brush mine. His voice was rough, raspy, untamed.

I shiver.

His hand press at the small of my back and I press closer to him

“I want you Raiden,” I gasp, my thighs tightening around him as I sought for some friction. He’s hard. I can feel him. My nails

trail down his back muscles and feel them tense just as he lets out another raspy growl before clashing his lips on mine once

more.
