Amelia’s pov
It’s been hours since the kiss with Raiden happened. Hours since his lips had touched mine. But it feels as if it had only happened a few seconds ago.
Every now and then my lips would tingle, reminding me that he had been there. It’s crazy that after eating some snacks, asking Foster for some gum and practically trying to get rid of Raiden’s lingering taste…….it was still there.
It felt as though he had embedded himself in me, marked me with his presence. As the teacher drawls out about the subject we were on, I find myself lifting my fingers to brush against my lips.
I could still feel him.
Growing annoyed that I am somehow still affected, I groaned aloud, clenching my hands into fists and accidentally smacking them on the desk surface
The entire class grows quiet and every single head turns to face me. I grin sheepishly as the teacher stares at me across the room with an annoyed glare for disturbing her class.
“Is there anything you want to share with us Amelia?” She questioned, one of her very thin brow comically rising up in a somehow slow motion.
I bit my lip to not giggle, leaning forward and coughing to hide the bit that slipped out. “Uh sorry, no ”
She nods, her eyes narrowing. “Good then keep quiet”
I nod and she returns to her teaching position. It’s the last class of the day, my entire body is on edge knowing that I will see
him again in a few minutes
1 sink my teeth into my lower lip, hating that he was affecting me so badly One kiss Amelia well two kisses and you’re a mess
When the class ends, Foster walks over to me as I slowly pack up my stuff. We were the only two left in the room. I was deliberately trying to kill time before I see Raiden I needed a moment to desperately collect myself together before facing him again
“You repacked that poor pencil for the third time now,” Foster let out a low amused snort “Are you that unwilling to cleart the cafeteria”
No I just don’t know how to gather my resolve together to face Raiden
I don’t say those words though, instead I nod and pretend that I am dreading cleaning the cafetera Foster chuckles “I can wait for you if you want?”
It’s been more than ten minutes since I’ve started and Raiden is a no show. I should be happy about that since I want to avoid him at all cost. But I find myself a bit disappointed that he isn’t here and blame it on him being a jerk for not showing up to help me clean at least.
“Asshole,” I mumble under my breath as I bend over to push the mop under the table.
“Perfect view,” a husky tone said just behind me. I straighten my spine quickly, my eyes widening, my heart skipping. A bundle of nerves instantly take over my body when he walks forward, his front pressing to my back, his hand snaking
around my waist Fire courses through me.
“Do you have any idea how hard it’s been today to not storm out of class and get what I want?” His lips brushed the back of
my ear and I shivered, gasping
“What?” I breathed out, my heart pounding into my chest.
He groaned, his fingers pressing just below my belly button “What did you do spitfire? You have me intoxicated with
everything you ”
