Amelia’s pov
“Mine.”
The word did not shout. It rippled through the air. Echoed in my bones. Slicing through me.
I didn’t flinch, hell I didn’t move at all. I just….stood there. Watching him as his eyes turn a sharp shade of red.
“Mine!” He snarls once more, causing everyone to follow his line of vision. Which was….me.
The curtain slipped from my hand and my breath hitches. My heart begins to race and for a moment, those eyes staring at me did not matter but his. In this very heartbeat, the world around us seems to fade. The troubles, the worries, the distrust. Everything faded.
His voice, the word, the claim, fakes through my head, through my body. It made my skin feel tight….feel aware that the word was not ordinary. It was a claim. It was different than when he had said it in the cafeteria. This time….I felt it.
My fingers rose to touch that spot on my neck again and I swallowed. It tingled sharply yet as I looked at Raiden dead in the eye, that spot felt like an invisible thread that pulled taut the longer he kept his gaze buried in my soul.
It felt like I had been tied to something…someone. That invisible thread now felt like there was a knot forming, a bond, a bind.
I gasped, pressing harder in the spot as I stumbled back a little at the intense feeling now tingling through my body. Arousal. Strong arousal.
And then Raiden’s nostrils flare and for a second he closes his eyes as if he was in pure pleasure and I watch him take in a deep breath. His chest rising and falling. I stare at him like a hawk.
When his eyes reopen, they connect instantly on me once more but now, he moved. He was….
..heading here.
My skin tingled, the spot on my neck pulsing even further. My fingers shook as I take steps back from the window.
Raiden. This feeling. This claim.
Something was different tonight. Something was happening to my body.
I let out a shaky breath, my other hand pressing to my racing heart. I could feel the tingling sensation between my thighs, I could feel my nipples harden against the fabric of his hoodie.
I can feel…him.
I can sense him.
Already taste him.
I needed him.
I needed him so badly.
All logic left my mind, everything beat for him. The memory of his lips on mine fluttered in my head, the way his fingertips had pressed into the small of my back, the way he had pulled me closer to him.
Iwanted that:
Oh I wanted that.
But I wanted so much more.
I bit my tongue. I craved Raiden like I craved air.
As the thought caused the pulsing fire to ignite even more in my body, the door suddenly burst open behind me. I twist

around quickly, sensing him, knowing it was him.
“Raiden,” I gasped, staring into the soul of a beast yet I could not feel any fear. Instead, the fire burns me alive. I needed him to
touch me. I needed him so much.
“Spitfire,” his voice is deeper, richer, more animal than man as he closes the door and locked it.
The hairs behind my neck stand on end but it is not because I was scared, no, it was because my body knew that I would be
claimed.
His strides are long and fast, his red eyes set on me. It’s dark but the full moon glow danced inside and on his features.
He stops breaths away, his scent enveloping me as his mere heat even though he has yet to touch me, sinks into my skin.
I clench my thighs together and Raiden let’s out a low growl, one that made the pulsing on my neck throb like a second heartbeat.
“Raiden,” I pant, instinctively taking a step closer to him, needing him even closer. I needed his skin on mine. I needed his touch.
Please just touch me. I begged inwardly.
He lift his hand, I don’t flinch, hell I welcome him by leaning in closer. His fingers ghost over my throat, barely brushing the spot where it tingled the most.
“Please,” I whispered, begging him for something I didn’t know.
That word. That plea. As it leaves my mouth his fingers grasp around my neck. Not harsh but firm as if to show his dominance as he leaned his head low, his breath feathering against my parted lips.
Those red eyes pinned me with a stare of hunger, of need, of desperation. “I knew you were mine Amelia,” were the words he groaned out just before his lips crash on mine,
