Amelia’s pov
I licked my lips, lifting one of my brow.” You know, where I am from, this is considered bullying and harassment.”
Look away Amelia. Don’t stare into his stunning eyes. They’ll trap you and make you feel things you’ve never felt before.
One of his thick brows angled up in an amused arch. “Hmm. Where I am from, it mostly means I want to be friends with you.”
My nose wiggled as if I had smelt something nasty, which was the lies coming from his pillowy looking lips. “Bullshit. You
don’t want to be friends with me.”
His eyes danced and his eyes fall to my lips. “You’re right. I don’t want to be friends with you Amelia,” the tip of his tongue
draw out of his mouth and he brush it across his bottom lip, causing a stir in my soul. “I want something more.”
My heart skipped a sharp beat at his words and I interlocked my fingers, licking my rather dry lips as I looked away.” Well
you better give up now, because you won’t get it anything more.”
I heard his breathy snort before I saw the amused way he looked at me. It’s like he knew he was going to get exactly what he wanted. I hated that he was getting under my skin by just this one look.
I clench my hands into fists on the desk, dragging a breath into my lungs as I try my best to ignore his stare. But the goosebumps rising on my skin told me I was doing a shitty job with shrugging him off.
I’m silently praying in my head for others to join us or at least the teacher. Being in the classroom with only Raiden so close to me, has me feeling unsettled in a way I couldn’t put my finger on. I hated it.
From the corner of my eye, I could see that he shifting around in his seat and noticed he was only removing his hoodie. I licked my lips, ignoring the slight buzz in my body when I saw a flash of his toned six packs.
*Here,” His scent engulfs me when his huge grey hoodie lands on the desk, right on my bag. I’m not sure if to pull in more of his scent into my nose or curl my nose in fake disgust. I gripped the fabric and without looking at him, I fling it back over to him
He catches it, his eyes trained on the side of my face. Can he hear my heartbeat? Does he know how loud its beating in my
ches!?
As my mind filled with questioning thoughts, Raiden takes me off guard when he leans closer to me, bursting my privacy bubble * Then why are you red little spitfire? his warm breath flutters so close to my ear and neck, causing a shiver so sharp to skid down my spine
I squirmed, turning to stare at him. His eyes flash with a playful glint and the tip of his lips curl into what you call a charming grin. He pulls away, examining me intently. I clutch the hoodie, feeling incredibly small under his gaze.
“I’ll return it later,” I caved in so the conversation could end and my mind could have some peace. Besides I am freezing, any longer and I’d turn into a popsicle.
His grin broadened as if he had just won the lottery, making me flush even more. I put on his hoodie. It swallows me whole and I embarrassingly tip my head down so my nose can brush against the material. I took in a strong whiff and his scent made me feel warm.
“You looked beautiful before but right now with my hoodie, you look incredibly sexy.” his words had me snapping my attention to him, my cheeks hot and I’m sure very red. His eyes sparkled as he chuckled. ” Maybe you should keep it, it looks better on you.”
Something about his words caused my skin to tingle with fire. I looked away quickly and I was thankfully saved from responding when the other students waltz in followed by the preppy teacher.
But for the rest of the class, Raiden couldn’t keep his eyes off me and I will admit, I was fighting to look over at him too. When the bell sounds, I was the first to practically run out of the room, hoping that I’d not see him again for today until I
return his hoodie.
