Me, dad and Len was beeping a watch on the security cameras we have all over the building, we could both hear and see everything that happened in her hospital room and in the hallway as well as the outside hefore she got into Kai’s car.

The hond Angelina have with this group is strong and I can only hope we can get such a strong bond as well. They truly love her like a sister and it’s clear as day that they all care deeply about her.

They joke around and laugh. Hearing her laugh like that with her friends truly melted my heart and I could see both Leo and dad had tears in their eyes watching the interactions between these people.

Now we are all just sitting in the living room waiting for the time go by faster. Then suddenly my phone rings and I see it’s Derick.

Rex – “Hello Derick” I asked with a questionable tone.

Derick – “So Betty, how is school, any boys giving you any trouble?” I heard Derick asks Betty on the other side of the phone.

I guess he know we are dying to meet Angelina so he’s trying to see if we can get something to do while waiting and the best thing is to avenge my baby sisters bullies.

A smile grow on my face and dad look at me with worry, I guess that is because I said Dericks name. So I put the phone on speaker and place in on the table put my index finger to my mouth ordering everyone to be quiet, and everyone nodded their head, including this branch’s team.

Angelina – “No sir, I have more problem with the ladies, the schools queen bee to be precise, but nothing I can’t handle. We heard she said with a sweet voice, but a little worry in it, guess that is to be expected when she right now don’t know what will happen to her.

Derick – “It’s Derick to you dear, and what is it this queen bee is doing exactly and what is her name?” I heard he is trying to stay calm but he had a little anger in his voice.

But that is to be expected hearing that his mafia princess having some issues no matter how small. And yes Angelina is also his mafia princess since he is in our mafia.

Angelina – “I’m sorry Derick, and nothing to worry about, I don’t want to bother you with my problems.” my heart sank to the bottom of my stomach hearing that Angelina think she is a bother.

We will have a long road ahead of us to get her to open up to us. And I think it will be very good that we get this team to New York as soon as possible, they seem to have a way to get Angelina to properly open up to them. I just hope we all get to that point.

Derick – “Betty it is no bother at all, lay it on me, tell me, maybe I can help put thing into perspective and lighten the situation for you” I heard Derick lean back trying to show Angelina that she had his attention, a good way to get someone to open up.

And we need this information so we can take care of this queen bee that think she can treat my baby poorly. After Derick said that it was quiet for a bit so I guess Angeline is debating on telling him or not.

Angelina “Hmm, why not, it won’t hurt anyone to get a different perspective of things, maybe me and Scarlette can work things out instead.” She said.

Derick – “Please tell me what she have done to you and if she have hurt you in any way. Let’s see if we can make this right.” he said, he truly trying to fish out things now.

I saw Leo lean over to Kai and asked “Have she talked to you guys about this?” he whispered so we all could hear him but not so it would make a sound on the other end of the phone. I looked around on all of them and they all shook their head no.

Angelina – “Well Si..Derick” she corrected herself, she is so polite it warms my heart, but I also think we will struggle for a while to get her drop the formalities around us as well.

Angelina – “Her name is Scarlette Martinez, and it have gone on for years, but so suddenly, I had never talked to her before. It can be something simple as small push in the hallway, pulling my hair, knocking books and papers out of my arms. One time she tried to push my head in the toilette, that was nasty. She also have locked me in the school throughout the night and I have not been able to either get out of the janitor closet, or the gym a few times. One time she locked me stuck on the school rooftop, when I got home from that my parents had a very strict conversation with me that I will remember for the rest of my life”

Derick – “Oh how did they help you remember?” I was seeing red at this point, I can’t believe that a little school girl can be this fucked up. And we all know what she meant with ‘remember for the rest of her life‘.

Angelina – “Well you can say it have been branded into my brain.” And with that I’m sure she means one of the words carved into her is because of that fucked up bitch!

Derick – “I think I really need to have a talk to her Betty, because I can’t see what you have done wrong here if this suddenly just started one day.” He said in a serious tone.

Angeline – “No need Derick, she is the principal’s daughter, and he is good friend of my late parents, and if she know I talked to you, and you/talk to her or her parents, well we can just say that my school life won’t get any easier. If you don’t have any advice to what I can do differently that’s okay. It’s not too long till I’m done with school. I have managed well so far I can manage some more.” I heard she say with her sweet angelic voice. She is a remarkable strong girl. And I’m so proud of being her big brother.
