Angeling’s pov.

After I finished with my little speech Rex hugged me tightly yet carefully, ‘you are far from weak, you are the strongest person I know Angel? Rex told me. He kept hugging me a little, before pulling be away. But why did you take off you hodie?‘ he asked me confused.

1 smiled back at him ‘It is to truly show you all, you are all my family. And so far even though I have Just been here one full day and two nights you all make me feel safe, and if I gonna feel completely

comfortable in my own home, I shouldn’t have to feel ashamed of my own body I have not had any

control over for twelve years. All marks and scars on my body have been made by others so it have

been outside of my control. If I ever gonna accept my own body, I need my family to accept it as well!” I finished explaining to Rex.

I know everyone here heard everything we said to each other, and I don’t know many of them, but Rex said they are the rest of my family so they also need to know.

Rex kissed my forehead before he stood up and sat down on the couch next to dad. “Pumpkin you

know you don’t have to do this we all will accept you anyway always!” and elderly lady said to me on the couch next to a fireplace.

I saw a elderly man next to her “you are our treasure and nothing will ever change that the elderly

man said, he looked scary but they don’t scare me. I take that those two are my grandparents,

honestly they do look familiar to me, it’s like a old memory got unlocked in my head.

“I know Nana, but this is something I have to do for myself” I said looking at the lady with a smile.

“And thank you Pa, it truly mean a lot to hear that!” I said to the elderly man.

I heard everyone gasps after I said that to them, so I look at Rex confused. A bit afraid I have said something wrong, I just used the names that felt natural to me.

Suddenly my grandmother and grandfather came running up to me hugging me tightly. “You remember us?” my grandma asked. I gave her a nod. And when they both had finished hugging me

they went back to their seat.

Daniel walked up to me pulled me into a hug you were the only one that was allowed to call them Nana and Pa, so that you remembered that made their day. And grandfather never smiles but you made him smile. Thank you for being you baby” Daniel whispered in my ear while hugging me.

Now I understand more, gotta love how Daniel always know how I feel. He pulled away from the hug and was about to walk back to his seat but I kept a hold on his hand.

I know I am the one that wanna do this but I need the support from my twin by my side. Daniel looked back at me “you want me to stay here with you?” he asked in a whisper. I answered him with

a nod, and he walked up behind me and pulled my back into his chest while having his hand around my waist.

I looked around the room and I saw a lot of eyes on me, and I suddenly saw eyes to a very young boy, he can’t be more than 8 years old, this is not something for him to hear.

I look up at Daniel and I look down on me, “maybe the little boy shouldn’t be here for this!?” it was both a statement and a question. He looked towards the boy.

“Aunt Mia maybe Carter wanna go and watch a movie while we have some boring grown up talk?” Daniel said to a lady in the room, I guess she is my aunt then.

She got a look of realization on her face, then she looked down on the boy on her lap. “What do you say honey, you wanna be here listen to us talk about A LOT of boring grown up talk or do you wanna go to the movie room to see whatever movie you want?” She asked the boy Carter.

The boy was so adorable, he had midnight black hair and sky blue eyes, he had a tiny little button nose and some freckles dancing on his face. He jumped off his mom’s lap and run towards the door, “I wanna watch a movie!” he shouted. I saw my aunt nod to a maid, and the maid walked after the

little boy.

“You ready?” Daniel whispered to me, and I replied with a nod and he kissed the top of my head. I took a deep breath to gather some courage and Daniel was giving me more courage by caressing my

lower stomach with his fingers.

I open my eyes and started to speak, “Okay so I’m sure everyone here know who I am, and even though right now I don’t know who all of you are, but I know everyone here is considered family. I will be as open I can be and if anyone have any questions, you are welcome to ask whatever. I will tell you all my story, and it’s not a pretty one, as you also can see on my body.” I started.

“But I want to feel safe with everyone here, and I don’t want to have to live in fear or shame

anymore. What I say here I expect you all to keep in the family because it is MY story and a very

personal one. Like I said earlier, some of you may have thoughts that you would have handled things

differently and that is okay, but let us all agree that we are all different people with different

mindset and let us not forget I’m a different gender than many of you, and that can also have fact in

the matter.” I looked around the room and on the oldest members I saw many proud looks.

On the younger once I saw confusion, I locked eyes with one of the once that looked very confused. I think he understood I had picked up on it and waiting for him to ask his question.

“Hey I’m James, your cousin but consider me a brother, I don’t mean to be rude or anything but why may gender have something to do with it?” James asked.

“It can be a lot of things actually Rex answered for me. “It can be the size, mindset or strength just to mention a few different things!” Rex finish explaining to James. And I nodded in agreement to what Rex said.
