The Breaking Point of Love novel Chapter 537

Miles, who'd been bored out of his mind the whole evening, finally brightened up the moment he saw Beck. "Finally! You have no idea how long I've been waiting for you."

Beck smiled and patted him on the shoulder, and when he noticed Wynn looking over, gave her a polite nod before sitting down beside Miles.

Linda didn't know that Beck would be there too.

The scene of him bluntly rejecting her before was still vivid in her mind, and it still stung. So, when he showed up, she only glanced at him once before quickly lowering her head, not daring to look again.

Miles said, "Let's play Mafia later. Since Trevor isn't here tonight, we can finally have some fun. He wins every time, so it completely ruins the experience for the rest of us."

Beck had already eaten before coming, but still took a few bites of the barbecue. Hearing that, he smiled, clinked glasses with Miles, and said, "Sure."

They ate for a bit longer, but soon Miles and the rest couldn't wait to start the game.

Beck, however, was a little distracted.

Ever since he arrived at the campsite, he had been quietly scanning the area, but hadn't seen Celeste anywhere.

After two rounds of the game, just as the next one was about to start, Beck suddenly paused, smiled faintly, patted Miles on the shoulder, and pointed in a direction.

"I'm going to say hi to someone."

Miles glanced over and saw he was pointing at Matthias. He didn't think much of it and waved him off. "Go, go."

Then, he turned back to continue playing.

The others didn't notice, but Wynn did. She clearly saw that Beck's mind wasn't on the game at all.

But Beck had completely ignored her, not even realizing she'd already seen right through him.

Thinking of how he couldn't wait to go find Celeste, Wynn pressed her lips tightly together.
