After changing her appearance, Sloane returned to the Kent residence to check on Clark’s condition.
The Kents welcomed her with utmost respect. The Miracle Doctor had become one of the most sought–after figures in Stonebridge, and they handled everything with extreme care.
Sloane took Clark’s pulse. Her brow relaxed slightly, and a faint smile appeared on her lips. “His pulse is steady, blood flow is smooth, and his recovery is even better than expected.”
Clark’s face lit up with joy. He nodded repeatedly. “Thank you, Miracle Doctor! If it weren’t for your miraculous hands, I wouldn’t have made it this far.”
Sloane offered a polite smile. “You flatter me. That day in the hospital, we met by chance. It just means fate brought us together, and your time wasn’t up. That said, even though your illness has been cured, you still need to take care of your health–especially when it comes to diet and rest. Don’t overexert yourself.”
Gordon quickly agreed, eyes full of gratitude. “We’ll remember everything you said, Miracle Doctor.”
The rest of the Kent family came forward one after another to thank her, their attitudes
reverent.
Gordon then took out a check and offered it with both hands. “This is a small token of appreciation from our family. Please accept it.”
Sloane glanced at the check but didn’t take it. Instead, she smiled faintly. “You can keep the check. But I do have something I’d like to ask of the Kent family.”
Everyone tensed immediately. Gordon looked over at Clark, then cautiously asked, “Whatever you need, if it’s within our power, we’ll do our best.”
Sloane smiled and raised her hand to remove the disguise from her face, revealing her stunningly beautiful features.
“You’re Sloane!” One of the young ladies from the Kent family recognized her at once.
Gordon had attended the Raylan family’s banquet. His eyes widened in shock. “You… you’re the Miracle Doctor!”

Shortly after, news broke that the Kent family intended to gift Sloane five percent of Kent Corp’s shares.
The announcement hit Stonebridge’s upper circles like a bomb.
Everyone was talking. How did Sloane always get so lucky? One minute she’s taken in as Astro’s last disciple, and the next, she’s a treasured guest of the Kent family, receiving a chunk of company shares?
Those who had been eagerly waiting to see her fall flat were left completely stunned by this string of announcements.
But the smart ones immediately picked up on something deeper–and Stonebridge had no shortage of clever people.
Clark couldn’t just hand out shares without board approval.
