Sloane reacted in a flash, twisting her body to the side. Mason, too drunk to stop himself, stumbled forward and crashed hard to the ground with a dull thud.

He struggled to his feet, eyes bloodshot, glaring at Sloane with a vicious snarl. Little bitchyou’re just as hateful as Lucas. He swayed as he stood, cursing under his breath.

Sloane had already realized that the door had been locked from both sides- Mason from inside, and someone else from outside.

Don’t waste your strength. You’re not getting out,” Mason sneered, eyes gleaming with malice. Ever since Lucas had woken up, Mason had lost all his footing in the company. Just today, all the men he’d planted in the group had been wiped out. He had nothing left.

He hadn’t planned this. Tonight was supposed to be about getting drunk. But when he heard that Lucas’s fiancée was here too, everything changed. The guy who told him was rightthis was the perfect chance for revenge.

Lucas thinks he’s untouchable? I’ll sleep with his fiancée tonight and make him the laughingstock of all Stonebridge!

Mason had completely lost his mind, driven by a single twisted goalhumiliate Lucas by violating Sloane.

Backed against the glass door, Sloane stared him down, eyes locked on the lunatic charging toward her.

A sharp scream of pain cut through the night.

The sound of it made Jill and Cameron, who were rushing to the scene, feel a chill run down their spines.

Sloane stepped out from behind the door, calmly wiping her hands. She tossed a soiled handkerchief into the trash can nearby.

Sloane, are you okay?Jill ran over in a panic, glancing toward the balcony. But it was too darkshe couldn’t see anything

I’m fine.Sloane pressed her lips together and took Jill’s hand. It’s late. Let’s go home.

Ohokay.Jill followed her obediently.

Cameron paused, squinting toward the balcony for a moment. Then he adjusted his glasses and quickly caught up to them.

II ever find out who locked me in that room, they’re dead,” Jill fumed. The staff had told her someone lured her away by claiming Cameron was being bullied, then locked her up.

Thankfully, Cameron found her in time.

He sighed. You can’t just believe whatever people tell you.”

Jill scowled, hands on her hips. This is your fault! If I hadn’t been so worried about you, would I have fallen for it?

Cameron had no comeback. He just raised his hands in surrender. Alright, alright. My fault. Totally my fault.

Hmph.Jill finally let it go.

Sloane stayed silent the whole way out.

When the three of them exited Eastgate Lounge, a black RollsRoyce Phantom was waiting by the curb. Andrew stood respectfully at the door.

Is thatAndrew?Jill’s jaw dropped slightly.

Andrew gave a polite bow and opened the car door,

The interior lighting was dim. All that could be seen was a pair of long legs, tailored black trousers cut from the finest fabric, and a glimpse of sleek leather shoeselegant and understated.

Sloane glanced into the car and said calmly. You two go on ahead.

Jill peeked inside, then nodded. Alright. See you at school in a few days.
