Tracy’s expression turned cold.

There was no rage in her eyes, only mockery.

She already knew Simon had been blinded. The police had taken her statement as the supposed victim, and Ronald had made sure her identity was protected.

Tracy gave a sharp laugh. “Blame Ms. Jackman? I wouldn’t dare. I’m just curious, Mr. Jackman. For someone who prides himself on being so sharp, don’t you think something about this doesn’t add up?”

Her words made him falter, his anger caught in his throat. For a moment, his confident expression slipped into confusion.

Each question hit Andrew like a hammer, leaving him silent and stunned.
