Drusilla glanced at her stepmother. Enoch had made her quite uncomfortable tonight, yet she seemed to bear no grudges against him, instead choosing to take the frustration out on her.

She said to Merrick, “I should be heading back now.”

“Take care, Miss.” Merrick replied.

“Would you please let my dad know?”

“Of course.”

After Drusilla finished speaking, she got into the car and sat next to Enoch.

Hestia waved them off from outside the car. She always had a flair for drama, whether it was in front of Merrick or Enoch.

Drusilla paid her no mind.

Sitting in the car, she withdrew her gaze and subconsciously glanced at Enoch. The streetlights at night shone through the car window, illuminating the defined contours of his face.

He seemed a bit upset, and Drusilla couldn’t help but think to herself that this man really did have a temper.

She had been kissed, and she hadn’t even said a word about it!

Despite having agreed they wouldn’t touch each other after getting married, he had gone ahead and kissed her twice now!

Biting her lip, she decided not to bring it up, instead quietly contemplating her own thoughts.

“Mr. Taylor, we’re here.”
