Drusilla was busy packing up her stuff when she heard the news and paused for a moment.
"Big deal," Enoch said leisurely.
Oberon chuckled, "No, it's not just that. They brought back the two kids. Don't you want to go see them?"
Enoch, sitting nearby, glanced at Drusilla first. Her face was a mask of stiffness.
And why wouldn't it be? She had been waiting all this time, knowing Blythe would bring the kids over!
Colton and Cormac...
Seeing Drusilla's displeasure, Enoch genuinely didn't want her to overthink. After all, they were finally getting along, maybe even sharing a meal together tonight.
Enoch finally spoke, "No need."
Drusilla looked at him and asked, "You're not going to see them?"
Weren't they confirmed to be his kids? He really didn't want to see them!
Enoch said, "They're not going anywhere. I have something to discuss with you."
Drusilla was puzzled. "What else is there?"
She thought the acupuncture session was over.
Enoch was not keen on seeing the kids, but she was!
Enoch said, "You'll know in a bit."
Drusilla pressed, "Enoch, are you sure you don't want to see the kids? Maybe you should."
Enoch didn't buy Drusilla's sudden change of heart. She never liked kids and now she's suggesting they go see them? He knew women often spoke in contradictions.
With a cold expression, he said, "No need to test me. I said I'm not interested, and that's final."
Drusilla was speechless. How did she end up being accused of testing him?
She was sincerely suggesting they see the kids, especially to get a glimpse of her Colton and Cormac!
