Twins - The Unforeseen Legacy of My Ex's Uncle-in-Law novel Chapter 33

Colton said, "Mom is helping him with therapy, so his health must be suffering. That’s not good. Mom's been working too hard, and she needs someone who can take care of her."

Listening to the two of them laying out their plans so clearly, Drusilla was speechless.

"What on earth have you two been learning?"

So young, yet they seem to know everything.

After finishing dinner with the two little ones, Drusilla helped them wash up before tucking them into bed.

She had to get them ready for school the next day.

Since Drusilla was on her own, the kids had been attending preschool since they were two. This way, she wouldn't have to leave them at home unattended while she was at work.

...

The next day, Drusilla was running a bit late to the Taylor household because of dropping the kids off at school.

Cybele greeted her at the door, and Drusilla apologized, "Sorry, I was dropping off the kids at school and got behind."

She hated being late, but with the kids, she felt like she had no choice.

Cybele smiled, "No worries, the old man's back today. The whole family's here."

"Enoch's granddad is back?"

"Yeah."

Hearing it was Wendell, Drusilla felt a bit excited; she was quite fond of the old man.

As she entered, she found the whole family gathered in the living room.

They were all around Wendell, who had just been brought back from the hospital. Harlan and Lilith were also there.

Sitting on the couch, Lilith said to Wendell, "Great-grandpa, you're looking so much better today."

He seemed like a different person compared to when they had first seen him the day before.

Blythe added, "Indeed."
