Twins - The Unforeseen Legacy of My Ex's Uncle-in-Law novel Chapter 55

"Mr. Taylor?" Enoch wasn't a fan of the formality. "At home, you can just call me by my name, or, you know, hubby."

"Hubby?" The term made Drusilla squirm with discomfort. No, she wasn't ready for that. She cleared her throat, "I'll stick to Enoch, if that's okay."

Hubby was a title she couldn't bring herself to say!

"Suit yourself." He was only giving her this chance for his grandfather's sake. If she didn't appreciate it, so be it!

After their awkward exchange, Drusilla left the Taylor residence. When she got home, Colton and Cormac were already asleep, with Cormac curled up next to his brother, a hand resting on Colton, the two brothers snuggled together, a picture of sibling love.

...

The next morning, Drusilla got up early to make breakfast for her two little ones. The three of them sat down in the dining room to eat.

Cormac was glued to his tablet, watching videos. Drusilla said, "Cormac, eat up, or you'll be late."

"Okay." He obediently started eating his breakfast.

But five minutes later, he was back to his old ways.

"If you keep this up, you're going to lose tablet privileges, got it?"

At Drusilla's words, he pouted but eventually went back to eating without another glance at his tablet.

Drusilla's phone buzzed with a notification. She checked it to see a message from Oberon on WhatsApp.

[Mrs. Taylor, Mr. Taylor has to go to the office today. You can meet him there directly. I've sent you the address.]

Below was the location for the Taylor Group headquarters.

Drusilla texted back.

[Got it.]

Cormac looked up, feeling wronged, "Then why can Mom be on her phone?"
