Enoch was at his wit's end with the constant nagging.
Blythe said, "Think hard, have you ever, you know, been with a woman? Maybe you forgot someone?"
Enoch massaged his temples, "No, I haven't."
"Yeah, right," Blythe scoffed. "There must be someone. Don't just brush me off every time this comes up."
Enoch retorted, "I've never even been intimate with a woman, so how could I?"
"Um..." Drusilla looked at him, clearly taken aback.
Enoch frowned.
Great! Why Drusilla shot him that look? Was it really such a shameful thing?
Blythe was also surprised, her son was all grown up, and yet...
Could it be?
He was quite popular!
She pressed, "Are you serious?"
"Mom," Enoch said. "Just go back home. Drusilla's here with me at the hospital. You don't have to come."
It was just another headache every time his mother visited.
Enoch was utterly frustrated.
Blythe argued, "How can we do that? Drusilla's all alone with so much to handle. We can't just leave her here with you."
Enoch assured, "It's fine, she can manage."
Drusilla rolled her eyes. She hadn't even had a say! Oh well, for the sake of the paycheck.
After all, Enoch wasn't in bad shape, and with Oberon around, she didn't need to be on constant watch. It wasn't too hard.
Blythe turned to her, "Then we're counting on you."
Drusilla responded, "It's no trouble. I've got this. You go ahead."
Blythe smiled at her and left with Baxter. Thinking of those two kids, Blythe felt she needed to clear things up.
