Fiona said, “My brother is in Entora. He wants to go play tennis, and I’ve told him before that you’re quite good.”

“Alright, send me the address.”

After hanging up, she got downstairs and told her grandparents, “I’m meeting Fiona and Jasmine to play ball. I won’t be back for lunch, and we’ll figure out dinner later.”

“I’m planning on taking Valentina to the mall.”

Xavier said. “In about half an hour, text Aveline and ask if she’s free. Tell her Valentina misses her and wants to meet up.”

“If Aveline says she’s meeting friends to play a sport, ask her what they’re playing and see if Valentina can go join her.”

Brielle caught on immediately and laughed, “You just want me to help you find out what Aveline’s up to, don’t you?”

Xavier replied, “If I’d known you were this smart, I wouldn’t have had to say all that.”

Brielle replied, “Alright, you don’t have to butter me up. I’ll help you. You’re my little brother, after all.”

Aveline drove to the club, where Fiona was waiting for her in the parking lot to take her inside.

It was a private club. Aveline had come to play tennis with Xavier a few times before, but now without him to bring her, she wasn’t a member and couldn’t get in.
