It wasn’t like he was particularly close to the Martins family. Ruben had just reached out to him through mutual contacts. Zane had only stepped in because Lucien’s approach might’ve seemed a little excessive.

But since Lucien clearly didn’t care, Zane wasn’t about to keep pressing.

Not long after, Lucien got a message from Jason, saying that Kaia was back at the villa.

Lucien deliberately waited a while longer before leisurely driving home. He would not let her off so easily.
