Chapter 476 Pray It’s Not the Police
Alden replied. “Logan, you’d better pray it isn’t the police; otherwise, you’re dead.”
“Shut up!”
Logan glared at Alden viciously, and a streak of cruelty flashed across his eyes.

“This is the Stone residence; not just anyone can walk in here. If the person who shows up isn’t Mr. Waylon, I’ll make sure they never walk out again!”
After saying that, Logan spat hard, then dialed a number.
“Boss, there’s an issue at the Stone residence; the money might not be ready on time. But don’t worry–this place has been under my control for years; nothing’s going to come to light. Once I’ve handled things here, I’ll send the payment.”
He hung up. Alden throbbed all over; he tried to grab Logan’s ankle to stop him from leaving, but Logan slipped away.
“Alden, you’d better pray I’m okay; if not, I’ll be the first to kill you.”
With that, Logan locked him in the basement, not caring whether Alden was covered in wounds, whether he’d get infected, develop a fever, or die; he left in a rush.
Alden stared at the tiny basement window and lay on the floor, gasping.
He muttered to himself. Mom, Dad, I don’t know how much longer I can hold on. But I already met Mr. Xenon’s biological daughter; she looks so much like him. Those truths should come out into the open. My mission is done. Even if your son dies now, I can still face you with my head held high.
After saying that, Alden passed out cold.
When Logan came up from the basement, he called to his men and had them circle Baron and Yvonne.
“You punk; I don’t care who you are–once you came into the Stone residence today, you’d better leave your life here.”
“Is that so? You sure talk big”
Waylon stepped forward. Seeing Waylon unafraid, Natalie followed.
Logan’s eyes lit up the moment he saw Natalie.

She was a real knockout, even prettier than Yvonne had been. Just that face alone was enough to take someone’s breath away.
Baron noticed Logan’s stare lingering on Natalie; his expression suddenly darkened, and a scalpel slipped from his cuff and flew straight for Logan’s eyes.
“Oh no!”
Logan didn’t expect it and almost got hit; he broke out in a cold sweat as he looked at Baron.
Just one glance was enough to send chills through Logan.
That young man’s gaze carried a murderous intent that seemed almost tangible.
Waylon also saw the look in Logan’s eyes; if Baron hadn’t moved so fast, he guessed Baron might’ve tried to gouge Logan’s eyes out.
Even so, Waylon still didn’t feel any easier.
“Logan, you’re so impressive; the whole Stone residence has become your cash cow.”
Waylon’s face was dark with anger.
Over the years in Ocean City, Logan had been pampered by trust–fund brats and had gotten a little full of himself; he fancied he was somebody.
Waylon’s mockery made him lose face.
“What kind of garbage are you? How dare you come here and make trouble at the Stone residence! Get him–seize him!”
Logan barked the order, but few of his security came forward.
The few who did emerge looked nervous and scared.
“Mr. Logan, that man killed your tiger.”
“What?”
Logan hurriedly looked over; sure enough, his tiger was already dead.
He trembled with rage.
