Breaking Mr. Cold (Giselle and Donovan) novel Chapter 126

Giselle drove to the Aston Martin dealership according to the address the caller had given her.

She'd originally planned to drop her dog off at her shop, but to save time, she just brought it along in the car.

The journey took 40 minutes. When she arrived, she got out of the car with her dog, and a staff member led her to the after-sales lounge.

She took a seat and was handed the repair bill. Looking over the long list of charges made her dizzy—most repairs were priced in the tens of thousands—as if she'd wrecked a rocket.

And because she'd intentionally damaged someone else's property, insurance wouldn't cover it. She'd have to pay the entire amount out of her own pocket.

Before long, the staff brought in the man, the one she'd gotten into a road rage spat with days earlier.

Giselle looked up. Today, he was dressed casually in a white T-shirt, black shorts, and sneakers. He was tall, well-built, and undeniably handsome.

With sunglasses on and both hands in his pockets, he carried himself with a cold, arrogant air, ignoring the staff and heading straight toward her.

She was sitting at a table. Instead of taking the empty seat across from her, he sat right next to her, far too close for comfort.
