Vincent had to return to New York to handle Marcelli family business. On his third day away, Sophia stood at the French doors of the island villa, watching the last ray of sunlight disappear.
A maid entered quietly. “Madam, please drink some milk.”
Sophia didn’t move. “When is he coming back?”
“Mr. Vincent said he would be back as soon as-
“BANG!”
The glass hit the wall, shattering. “I am not your ‘madam‘,” Sophia sneered. “Get out.”
The terrified maid scrambled out. Sophia bent down and picked up the sharpest shard of glass.
At the same moment, in the Marcelli headquarters in New York, Vincent sat at the head of a conference table, his thumb
screen showed a surveillance still: Sophia on the beach, staring at the horizon, her sea breeze could blow her away.

“Postpone it,” he said, suddenly standing
“Get the car. We’re going to the airport.”
Marco was stunned. “But the family council meeting-
“Now.”
At the airfield, the moment his private jet landed, Vincent rushed down the steps. He hadn’t seen her in three days, and he was going mad with longing.
