Chapter 153
Chapter 153
Anne ushered Sienna to the table and, quick as a flash, placed a knife and fork set right in front of her.
Sienna gazed at the dishes, cach one so fancy it almost felt unreal.
They looked and smelled absolutely mouthwatering.
And every single dish was from her favorite cuisine.
Sienna shot a surprised look at Mason as he walked over.
‘Seriously? This rich kid, pampered all his life and basically the golden boy….
‘He can actually cook?
And he’s this good at it?‘ Sienna wondered.
Mason lounged down beside her, a lazy grin playing on his lips. “What can I say? Since I’m supposed to be the one cooking for you, Your Majesty, I had to max out my culinary skills.”
Sienna watched him strut his stuff, then after a couple of seconds, she deadpanned, “You’re breaking character, Mr. Mason.”
She put extra bite on the first words, drawing them out with a hint of sarcasm.
Mason let out a low, raspy laugh as he settled next to Sienna, turning his body slightly toward her.
That subtle movement drew them even closer, shrinking the space between them.
Now he was so near that Sienna could clearly make out the shimmer in his deep, captivating eyes, locked straight onto her.
The slight upturn of his eyes held an unmistakable allure, a lure that was impossible to resist. With a smirk, Mason replied, “Breaking character? No. Around you…this is just who I am, as always.”
At that, Sienna was left speechless.
‘Seriously, did he just turn up the charm again?‘ she thought, a little flustered.
This time, she kept her mouth shut and buried herself in her food–not giving him the satisfaction of a comeback.
‘This guy has zero chill when it comes to strutting his stuff,‘ Sienna thought.
If she said another word, he’d probably start spinning around, showing off like a full–on peacock right at the dinner table.
So Sienna just snatched up her fork and buried herself in the feast–no hesitation, just all in.

She grabbed a bite, popped it in her mouth, and her eyes instantly lit up.
‘No kidding, his cooking skills… Sienna thought, honestly a bit shell–shocked.
He crushed my expectations, for reall
‘The flavor? It’s out of this world. Sienna thought in surprise.
Whether it was the way he controlled the heat or nailed the seasoning, everything was spot on–seriously, this could totally go toe–to–toe with any top chef out there.
Mason couldn’t take his eyes off Sienna, tracking every little change in her expression.
When he caught her eyes sparkling and her fork moving like lightning, he grinned, his whole face lighting up. “So, how’s my cooking? Impressed yet?”
Sienna swallowed the meat and, putting on an air of pride, gave a smug little nod. “Yeah, it’s alright, I guess. Definitely edible.”
But that so–called “alright” was a total bluff–she couldn’t stop herself from reaching for more, her fork darting around the plate.
She was eating noticeably faster than she ever did, almost like she couldn’t help herself.
Mason gave a small grin, didn’t say a word, and simply joined Sienna for the meal.
Honestly, one could barely call what Mason was doing “eating.”
He was doting on Sienna the whole time, and the glint in his eyes just grew more and more intense.
It wasn’t until Sienna finally set her fork down, letting out a soft, satisfied sigh, that it was clear she’d eaten her fill.
Most of the dishes on the table had been demolished–she’d nearly cleaned them out.
She’d even eaten more than last night, when Anne did the cooking.
Mason arched his brow, a half–smirk dancing in his eyes. “This is just ‘alright‘? Just ‘edible‘? Come on, you’re not fooling anyone.”
Sienna gave a casual shrug. “Well, thinking hard makes me hungry,” she muttered, trying not to sound too impressed.
Mason arched his brow, that mischievous glint in his eyes only deepening as he just gazed at her in silence.
Sienna figured that, since she owed him for the meal, the least she could do was be generous with her compliments.
After thinking it over, she said, “Actually, your cooking’s seriously impressive.”
Mason’s eyes lit up like he’d just scored a huge win, and his cool, striking features subtly leaned in even closer.

At this distance, Mason’s face was almost too good to be true, hypnotizing in a way that made it hard to look anywhere else.
He had this devilishly enchanting charm about him, the kind that made one forget to breathe.
It felt like he could snatch one’s soul if he wanted–a dangerous sort of allure that was impossible to resist.
It was like he was casting a love net, ready to sweep Sienna right up and pull her in, no escape at all.
‘Man, this guy…
‘His face is honestly flawless–like, not a single flaw.
With looks like that, it’s no wonder he weaponizes his beauty. He could charm anyone if he wanted, Sienna thought, half amused, half helpless.
“We’ll talk about that later!” Sienna scoffed, deflecting the promise. ‘Seriously, all this talk about “from now on” and “every day“… does he think I’m just going to move in and stay forever?‘ Sienna grumbled inwardly.
She averted her gaze and stood up, not wanting to get drawn deeper into the conversation.
Just as Sienna made a move to leave, Mason’s hand closed around her wrist once again.
He lifted his chin toward the couch, signaling her over. “Let’s take care of that wound.”
Sienna glanced at the back of her hand. “It’s almost healed.”
“Instructions say twice a day, stay consistent with the meds, and no scars left behind,” Mason said, gently tugging her over and plopping her down on the couch. “If you ended up with a scar, your family would be worried sick.”
Her hands were slender and fair, like they’d been sculpted from pure jade–seriously, so pretty it was unreal.
‘There’s no way I’m letting those beautiful hands get scarred up,‘ Mason thought, his eyes tracing the delicate lines of her fingers.
At that, Sienna was left speechless.
So she did as she was told and obediently settled herself on the couch.
Sienna watched as Mason, who’d already placed the first–aid kit right next to the couch in advance, sat down beside her. He moved like someone who’d done this a hundred times–expertly peeling off the old bandage before gently smoothing the special ointment over her hand.
Sienna just sat quietly, letting Mason handle everything, not resisting or even flinching.
Anne couldn’t stop grinning from the sidelines, looking every bit the proud, doting aunt.
“That’s my boy–never misses a beat when it comes to getting close to a pretty girl!‘ she thought, practically

bubbling with mischief and pride.
Pretty soon, I’ll have a new young mistress joining the family! she mused, already dreaming about adding another happy face to the household.
Anne nudged Ben toward the display racks, sending him off to wrangle the mountain of clothes, all just to give these two lovebirds plenty of room.
Seriously, that pile of clothes was endless.
They’d be making trips back and forth to the spare room next to Sienna’s, hauling and sorting things for ages.
As Mason carefully tended to Sienna’s hand, he shot a sly glance at the two busybodies, a hint of mischief flickering in his eyes.
He said, “The two rooms next to yours are empty. I’ll have someone knock down the walls and turn them into a walk–in closet for you.”
