Fake Heiress Real Trouble (Sienna) novel Chapter 26

Chapter 26

Ernest’s eyes darkened. Seeing Sienna’s cold, indifferent face, he suddenly pulled Jessica tighter into his arms. His voice was icy. “Why should you move? You’re the one who belongs next to me now.”

The whole time he spoke, he kept his eyes on Sienna, searching her face for any reaction.

But she didn’t give him anything. Her expression stayed blank and distant, nothing like the bright smile she used to show him.

His brows drew together.

Then Jessica’s trembling voice piped up again. “Miss Cooper, I know you came here for Ernest. Since you’re already here, why don’t you come in and sit down?”

She looked like she was scared of Sienna but still trying to be brave for Ernest’s sake.

That reminded Ernest-Sienna had come to the Golden Throne Club because he had called her. She was here for him.

The irritation burning in his chest started to fade. He even felt a little smug.

He leaned back lazily against the sofa, tilting his head with a smirk. His tone was full of arrogance, like he was giving her a favor. “Since you’re here, why are you just standing there? Come in and apologize to Jessica.”

His protectiveness toward Jessica made everyone else in the room turn to look at Sienna, eager for drama.

On the other side of the doorway, hidden from their view, Alvin leaned against the wall. Since no one saw him, the people inside let loose without holding back.

Lauren sneered, “Sienna, you really come running the moment Ernest calls. Don’t you have any jinx?”

Sienna lifted her eyes calmly, a faint, cold smile tugging at her lips. “A jinx?”

shame, you

She raised her hand and pointed at Ernest, sitting like a king on the sofa. “Four years ago, your family survived because you teamed up with the Grant family. Was that thanks to your late-night parties? Or was it because of the tears of your so-called miracle-working sister?”

The words struck deep. Ernest’s partnership with the Fairbank family had only happened because of his engagement to Sienna.

What they didn’t know was that Sienna had secretly pulled strings to make the deal work in Ernest’s favor, giving the Fairbank family a way in and saving them from collapse in Orlathis City.

“Don’t take credit for that,” a skinny man snapped. “Ernest only partnered with the Fairbank family out of respect for them. You’re just a fake who stole Miss Fairbank’s life for twenty years. And now you dare chase after Ernest, huh? Pathetic.”

Alf added with a sneer, “You’re just a country nobody. If it weren’t for Ernest and Miss Fairbank, you’d never

even get through the doors of the Golden Throne Club.”

“Chase after him?” Sienna shot back with a mocking laugh, her eyes flicking to Ernest’s face. “A piece of trash I already threw away? You think he’s worth my time, huh?”

Her gaze

slid to Lauren and Jessica, sharp with open scorn. “And as for whether I belong here at the Golden Throne Club, are you sure about that?”

Lauren and Jessica froze, instantly thinking of the Zenith Hall pass Sienna had flashed earlier. Their throats tightened, and frustration burned on their faces, but they couldn’t say a word.

“You tell them!” Alvin clapped from the doorway. “Nice one, Sienna. And you clowns-go on, bark again. I dare you.”

The sudden voice made the room fall silent.

Every head turned toward the doorway and finally noticed the flashy young man in neon-green standing beside Sienna. His sharp features somehow made even that loud outfit look good.

Recognition hit instantly. “Mr. Fuller.”

In their circles, nobody but Alvin dressed like that. It was his signature look.

The word “trash” had already made Ernest’s face darken. And seeing Sienna stand with Alvin made something boil inside him.

up

His chest tightened with rage he couldn’t control. He snapped, words spilling out before he could stop himself.

“Sienna, you’ve sunk this low, huh? The moment you left me, you threw yourself at Mr. Fuller,” he sneered. “You think standing next to him makes you tough, huh? How long do you think he’ll bother with you? He’s just playing around—”

“Careful with your mouth, Mr. Grant.” Alvin stepped forward, sliding his hands into his pockets.

His voice was casual, but his eyes were sharp enough to cut. “What do you mean she threw herself at me? Sienna is my boss. I’d be lucky to work under her. Who the hell do you think you are, talking to her like that? Say one more word, and I swear you won’t be walking out of the Golden Throne Club tonight.”

Alvin narrowed his eyes, and anyone who knew him would see the fury burning there.

Just imagining how Sienna had been treated by Ernest for the past four years made him want to tear apart every single bastard in the room.

Ernest’s face twisted. For a moment, he was thrown off by Alvin’s intensity. But then his shame turned into even greater anger. He glared at Sienna. “Are you done with this act?”

He didn’t buy it. He couldn’t. There was no way the infamous Fuller family heir, a man known for stirring up chaos everywhere he went, would actually show respect to someone like Sienna.
