Chapter 175
Damael sneered. ‘Let’s just hope your pet doesn’t get herself killed.”
Vaela hissed. “She’s fine. She’s cleverer than you give her credit for.”
If only they knew how right they were, and how fucking wrong. Sierra’s voice whispered again, deadly and determined.
“She’s already sent the message. Luna Aelira will know. Duskwell dies first.”
And for the first time in a long, long while…
I smiled.
Elowen POV
The war room in the Dragonborn Castle shimmered with old magic, a map of all known realms suspended in starlight above the table. Carved obsidian, rune–etched walls, dragonfire torches that flickered with elemental breath. Ancient as hell, but somehow… it felt like home.
I stood at the head of the table, Lyssira prowling in my skull.
*Time to make moves, moon chosen. Stop waiting for the storm. Be the fucking storm.”

Vaelrix stood beside me, all tall and commanding, his emerald eyes unreadable. His hand rested lightly on the hilt of his sword, the other still curled around the hilt of his damn temper.
“I’m proposing a full relocation,” he said, his voice cutting through the room like steel. “The Dragon Lands are magically warded, forgotten by most, and defensible. No Aegis scout or Hollow Creed bastard can reach this realm without divine permission. Here, we rebuild. Train. Fortify.”
Ashrian leaned forward, his fingers templed. “And Earth?”
“We rotate, Bram rumbled, his arms crossed and voice low. “One foot in both worlds. We can’t abandon the humans still resisting. But base ops? This realm’s got my vote.”
Lachlan cracked his knuckles, pulling a glowing thread of magic from the air. “Th‘ ley lines here, they’re alive, lass. Singin‘. Beggin‘ tae be used. I could build wards so thick nae even Raelith’s shadow could crawl in without beggin‘ fer mercy.”
I nodded, letting their words settle.
“Lyssira agrees,‘ I murmured.
‘Damn right I do. I don’t want any Aegis trash breathing near our pups. We make this our den.”
“I’ll lead a construction crew to the keep on Earth,” Bram added. “Work with the dragons. Expand it. Link it with portals. Give us fallback options. Easy travel between the two bases.”
I nodded in agreement. Ashrian turned to me, his sharp gaze flicking toward Vaelrix. “And the temple efforts?”

Chapter 175
We build more goddess temples here,” I said. “The gods are begging to be worshipped again. That power could tip the balance. We get the fae to reconnect with their gods, let them speak to the stars, the moon, the damn earth beneath their feet.”
Lachlan’s eyes sparked with light. It’s long past time th‘ divine stepped back intae the bloody ring.”
Just then, Luna Aelira’s phone buzzed on the table. She blinked, read it, and her face went ghost white.
“What is it?” I asked, my stomach dropping.
She read aloud, her voice breaking:
“Children are being hurt in Duskwell.
Hit that site first.
Love you.
Soria.
Everything. Fucking. Froze. Daxon’s chair scraped back with a snarl, his wolf practically bursting through his skin. “Children?!”
Lyssira went nuclear in my mind. “WE GO NOW. RIGHT FUCKING NOW.”
Ashrian stood, already pulling weapons from his belt. “I’ll teleport us straight to the nearest ridge. I have eyes in Duskwell.”
I’ll gather a strike team,” Bram growled. “We go heavy. We go now.”
Lachlan reached into the air, drawing a glowing rune. “I’ll link th‘ portal mesh. Coordinate extraction spells. But Elowen…ye better let me fry the bastards who hurt those bairns.”
“I’ll ride with you,” Vaelrix said, his voice sharp as dragonsteel. “The Iron Wing is yours to command.”
“No.” I raised my voice. “We split forces. Scouts first. Information before rage.”
Daxon growled. “You think I can wait knowing kids are being tortured?!”
I grabbed his wrist, squeezing hard. “You’ll do it smart, Dax. Or those kids won’t be the only ones we lose.”
Silence. Angry, vibrating silence,
Finally, Luna Nira stepped forward. I’ll alert the temple mages. Medical units. Shielding wards. We’ll be ready to receive every single child
you save.”
