“Then, as per tradition, we can organize the Hunt and everybody is free to participate in it.”

Before I could ask him what that means, Killian shouted.

“No way are you organizing the Hunt King Aecidus will not tolerate such nonsense.”

This time, however, it was Maelyn who spoke up

“King Recidus respects the kingdom’s traditions and would love that his eldest son remembered to invoke an age old tradition instead of just revel food and drinks. If anything, he would be impressed.”

Martin joined her and nodded, “Yup, take all the time you need to use your witchy genes to listen to you, witch girl. After that, it will be fun.”

I looked at Killian in panic and asked.

“What the hell is the Hunt?”

Killian’s voice was edgy. “Just what it says. Each of the prince and princesses can join the hunt and whoever catches the prey first owns it. They can decide what to do with it.”
