The fuck!
I was not going to let him walk away like that. So I grabbed him by the collar again, surprising him.
“See, I could take you by surprise even on the field if I wanted to,” I breathed.
Killian’s eyes hardened, and I saw something flare in his eyes. His face was close to mine. Very, very close.
His lips hovered over mine, and his breath fanned my face.
His musky scent surrounded me, and it reminded me of all the things at once- home, forest, warmth and longing.
I couldn’t help but lean forward to kiss those full lips. So I slanted my mouth on his and was rewarded with a moan that escaped his lips.
Killian didn’t push me away instead his hands went around my waist, and he pulled me in like he had been hungry for this too.
But I pulled back abruptly, giving him just a taste of my lips. He looked not just surprised but also a little angry.
Good, at least he was showing some real emotion instead of being a good boy during the night and a bad one on the grounds.
No sooner had that thought popped up in my head, my mind conjured a scene of him and us doing bad things on the ground.
The thought should have scared me, but it excited me.
An unsatisfied growl left his throat as he looked at me hungrily. I had not bothered changing and was still in the white gown provided by the temple
Its neckline had pushed down a little, and I saw a spark flare in his eyes when his gaze landed there. Killian had always been calm and quiet, a perf gentleman.
But tonight I could see how he was struggling to keep his composure. I felt he was sitting at the very edge and was having a hard time with a mere kiss.
“You think only you can make me do things?” I asked and gave him a coy smile.
That only seemed to add fuel to the fire because he looked at me as if he was going to enjoy punishing me.
And for some reason, it turned me on.
Killian was already breathing hard and had coiled his fingers into fists. He was shaking, and his breath was ragged.
I could see his chest heaving up and down.
He stood like that for a few minutes, breathing deeply, and then loosened his fists to finally look back at me.
That abrupt change in his body posture and behavior was gone.
And I could see that call boy in front of my eyes, that easy going, ridiculously charming smile plastered on his face.
“Never said so,” He said, slightly tilting his head to the side.
“You keep forgetting that I bought you for my pleasure. And you dragged me here to some faraway land without any notice. Don’t you think you deserve a punishment for that?”
I asked, heart hammering loudly against my ribcage.

Chapter 84
That agony and anger was gone, replaced by coal amusement. The corner of his mouth tilted up in a smirk as he pushed one of his hands inside his pocket.
“Oh what are you going to do? I am already terrified,” He said, not in a mocking tone but his face absolutely devoid of any trace of fear of apprehension
“Answer my questions. Now!!” I said, and he said in a flat tone.
“Make mei”
Well, he was still being true to me. He was not lying, but this attitude of his wasn’t helping either.
“This is not your training ground where you lecture me.” I said haughtily, and he nodded.
“Yes, these are my quarters, bedchamber to be precise, and there is nobody to watch how I disobey you,”
Those words should have angered me, but why the hell hearing the word ‘obey‘ from him, in that silky smooth tone made my stomach flip weirdly?
“So…dont disobey me,” I said, my voice shaking a little.
“Or what, my queen? What will you do?” Killian asked, his smirk growing wider and his eyes twinkling with mischief.
I was a little taken by surprise at his words.
I stepped back a little, but he continued to prowl forward like the Lycan he was.
“You think you have me wrapped around your little finger, but you have no idea who you are dealing with.”
Killian said, his voice growing slightly rough as he kept stepping forward, and I felt my back hitting the wall. My back was plastered against the wall, and
he was looming over me, his eyes dancing with a promise of something my heart was excited about.
“I am asking you to tell me your secrets,” I said, trying my best to not sound shaky, but damn, the nearness of him was making me feel everything inquisitive.
For now, I wanted to forget everything about us, about the kingdom, the curse or his secrets. I had seen too much, learned too much.
I needed my stress buster.
I needed my boy toy.
Seeing the boy get thrown to tipse creatures had left me shaken and stunned. My brain could not process any more secrets or information for a while.
It just wanted to go numb and relax.
I wanted to feel nothing except relief and escape from this harsh reality.
“I want you to go back to being the charming boy toy I bought for myself at Wolves and Whiskey. I dont want to deal with anything else when we are in this room.”
I said, my voice sounding all too hopeful.
Killian was looming over me, but I could see that he wanted this as much as I did.
“Are you sure, my queen?” He rasped, and I nodded.
“Well, then we have a deal. But I will also like to put my condition in front of you.”
I was almost about to sigh in relief, but his words made me pause.
“Out with it”
