Sebastian sent, "If you block me, I'll make sure to tell anyone who asks about it tomorrow that you bit me."
Valeria muted his messages and tossed the phone aside.
After ten minutes, Valeria felt like her sleepiness was completely gone. So, she picked up her phone and saw that he had sent a few more messages.
She took a deep breath and replied, "What about you, Mr. Grant? You broke into a woman's house in the middle of the night with the excuse of being drunk. What exactly were you trying to do?"
It was midnight in Slate City.
The car was driving on a wide road. As the car entered the bustling commercial district, the city lights dazzled the eye.
Sebastian stared at the scenery flashing past the car window. The light flashed on his face as the car drove on.
Valeria's question played on Sebastian's mind.
What was he trying to do? He definitely had impure intentions.
When Sebastian went to work at Slate City Medical Center, it seemed like everyone he passed turned to look at him. After he passed, they started to whisper.
"What's up with Dr. Grant's mouth?"
"That's a pretty big wound. It looks like a bite mark."
"Who else could have bitten him there? It must have been a girlfriend."
"Anyone dare to go ask Dr. Grant about it?"
"I wouldn't dare to gossip in front of him. I heard that…"
"Hey, keep it down. Look, Ruby's expression looks horrible."
The group caught sight of Ruby approaching in a white coat. Her expression was dark as she glared at the nurse who had been gossiping the loudest. "It's working hours. Maybe focus on your job instead of spreading gossip."
Clenching her fists, Ruby waited two hours outside the operating room until Sebastian finally emerged.
