Alia POV
Facing Gabriel’s fist, Marco didn’t move at all, his expression calm.
Before Gabriel’s fist could touch Marco, Julio firmly grabbed it. With a slight squeeze, he made Gabriel’s bones crackle.
“Let go! What the fuck are you trying to do?‘ Gabriel felt like his bones were about to be crushed. Burning with rage, he shouted, “Marco, are you fucking looking for death? Who do you think you are? You think having the Vittorio name makes you the Godfather’s honored guest? I can make you disappear from this world forever if I want to.”
Looking at the furious Gabriel, Marco seemed like an outsider, watching coldly. He was watching a show, a farce.
He didn’t want to watch anymore.
So, he gave Gabriel a cold glance and turned to leave.
Seeing Marco about to leave, Gabriel became even more desperate. How could he let him walk away like this?
Gabriel couldn’t help but swing his other fist at Julio, but Julio dodged it nimbly and kicked Gabriel in the abdomen.
In pain, Gabriel cursed loudly: “Fuck! Marco, stop right there! Fight me one–on–one if you’ve got the guts!”
“Hahaha…” Hearing this, Julio laughed, “Young Mr. Castro, I advise you to stop here. If our Mr. Vittorio were to take action himself, you might not even
survive.”
Gabriel remained defiant, assuming Julio was just mocking him. He swung his fist again, but like before, he didn’t touch Julio and instead received another punch.
After Gabriel took a few hits, security personnel arrived very promptly.
Julio released Gabriel and turned to the security guards: “How are you doing your job? You let in people without invitations?”
“Mr. Julio…”
“Forget it,” Julio waved his hand. “Just throw him out.”
“None of you dare touch me. I was invited by the Godfather of Black Hawk. Who the fuck dares to touch me?” Gabriel was too angry to notice the security personnel’s attitude toward Julio. He still thought he could use the Godfather of Black Hawk as his backing, not knowing that the person he had offended was the Godfather himself–the Mafia overlord.
Julio sneered, “Why don’t you tell the young master of the Castro family who wants him to leave.”
Mr. Castro, the Godfather does not welcome you. Please leave immediately, or we’ll have to escort you out. The earlier fight had already attracted many onlookers, and now the security guards were speaking particularly loudly. People were already pointing at Gabriel.
Still not giving up, Gabriel said, “Do you know who I am? I’m Gabriel, heir to the Monterlano Castro family. If you dare to throw me out, you’ll all pay for
this.”
“We don’t know Mr. Castro from Monterlano. We only know the Godfather of Black Hawk. Mr. Castro, please cooperate, or we’ll have to use force. The security guard’s words were more humiliating to Gabriel than a slap in the face.
At this moment, he finally realized that he had faken a big fall today. Not only had he been hurt and lost face, but most importantly, he had left a bad impression on the Godfather.
For the sake of future cooperation with the Godfather, Gabriel decided to endure it for now and settle scores with Vittorio later.
As security personnel escorted Gabriel through the hall, all eyes were on him. Mocking laughter reached his eats, making him feel like a complete clown tonight.
Chapter 81
He clenched his fists tightly, his narrowed eyes revealing a vicious, sinister light. In his heart, he thought–Alia, Marco, you brought this on yourselves by being so ungrateful. Don’t blame me for being ruthless.
In the reception room, Marco stood at the door for nearly a full minute before pushing it open.
Seeing him appear, Luca tactfully withdrew, closing the door behind him.
Marco locked the door with a backward motion, his gaze dark as he looked at me.
“Marco, I… I wanted to explain, but facing Marco’s gloomy gaze, I couldn’t say anything.
Something seemed to be stuck in my throat, as if speaking would cause everything to collapse.
*Explain. I’m listening,” Marco prompted after waiting for a long time without hearing my explanation.
What could I tell him?
Should I sob about what happened at home?
Make him pity me?
And what good would knowing do? Would I ask him to seek justice for me? Against the powerful Castro family?
Moreover, regardless of the hidden circumstances, I had indeed broken my promise. I had promised him I wouldn’t see Gabriel again, yet Marco caught me with him once more.
And just now, I was even in Gabriel’s embrace.
I owed him an explanation, but I didn’t want to use the real reason, nor did I want to lie to him.
For a long, long time, time froze in the air, and I didn’t know where to begin.
I looked at Marco. Those dark eyes no longer held their brilliant light, only surging undercurrents, wave after wave.
For a moment, I wished I could just sink into those dark tides and never have to deal with this complicated world again.
But I didn’t. I couldn’t.
“I… I began but stopped.
This single utterance was like a trumpet breaking the silence.
Marco, who had been silent for so long, seemed unable to bear this endless waiting any longer. He suddenly reached out, pulled me into his arms, and firmly pressed his right hand against the back of my head. A hot, burning kiss followed.
He kissed me fiercely, violently, full of anger.
He took away all my breath, biting my lips.
I tried to resist, but that only led to an even more domineering kiss.
Soon, my lips were no longer enough for Marco
The fierce, domineering kisses spread from my neck, biting all the way, like a punishment.
Marco, no! As soon as my mouth was free, I couldn’t help but cry out, but this exclamation couldn’t stop Marco.
Chapter 81
His large hand moved rapidly upward from my waist, grabbing the strap of my dream gown and pulling hard, making a tearing sound.
Suddenly feeling a chill on my body, I cried out: ‘No-
I reached out to protect my chest, but Marco was faster. His hand was already sliding down from my collarbone…
His hot, burning kisses slowly moved downward, from my neck continuing to spread, leaving one mark after another.
Intense fear swept over me. I pushed, refused, and whimpered.
Marco, please stop. I pleaded one last time, tears flowing.
My voice was hoarse, exhausted.
The rough kisses stopped abruptly. The force restraining me suddenly released, giving me freedom.
Marco raised his head and looked at me.
