3rd POV:
3 MONTHS LATER:
Humiliated:
It was a beautiful Saturday Afternoon when Terra had decided to cook a recipe she had found online. She had been craving a lot of sweets. She hummed a soft tune playing from her phone dancing around the kitchen with pure excitement and happiness. She had always loved dancing but it was simply a hobby. Evelyn had tried to convince her to do it professionally along with cooking as well because Evelyn swore Terra was better than some many chefs out there.
The past few months had been exceedingly long for Terra and Ross, Terra assumed she was the only one who felt like the days were long because she wasn't doing anything, she was simply cooped up in the house but a few weeks ago when Ross' office was going through a renovation, Terra had overheard him saying the same thing she had been feeling.
She sometimes felt miserable and lonely in the house, Evelyn was out of the country practicing and preparing for her big interview and would most likely settle there, and she had no other friends except Evelyn. Ross was as cold as ice since their wedding night, he never uttered a word to her and ignored her greetings so much that she stopped greeting him. No words were exchanged between the two.
Especially after Terra had noticed a lipstick stain on Ross' white collar, she was so heartbroken and refused to even look him in the eye. Everyday for Terra, was a lonely, miserable day and it was beginning to get frustrating.
As she danced around the large kitchen, she was so into the steps, she failed to see Ross standing there leaning on the door frame watching her body move with intrigue. He was so amazed by her, she was extremely talented, as he had tasted some of the dishes she had made and mentally concluded that she was the best cook. And he had also seen her a few times practicing taekwondo, she was not to be played with.
Terra grinned from ear to ear as she concluded her steps, with her back turned away from Ross, she did a bow like she had just performed, waving to the non-existent crowd and this seemed to have tickled Ross Funny bone as he chuckled softly making Terra turn around looking at him with wide eyes.
"You're back." She pointed out and Ross instantly masked up his amused expression replacing it with his regular blank face. She exhaled when he didn't reply, checking the snacks she was preparing in the oven.
Why do I even try? She thought to herself wearing the cute pink mittens she had purchased.
"The make-up artist and stylist will be here in about thirty minutes." He informed her, grabbing a bottle of water and leaving the kitchen.
She stomped her foot on the ground and huffed, they were headed to her Ross Mum's birthday party that was the talk of the city. Terra did not want to be there as she had figured his mother did not like her in the slightest nor did she. But she had to fulfill her duty as Ross'wife so was going to dress beautifully and do as she was told.
