Chapter 92
Memi
She definitely said something bad about me.
On the way, Denise said to me, “Kay, just four days left. You’ve got to hang in there.”
I nodded. First you need to gather evidence of Leland and Caitlyn together. I want to make sure they get the punishment they deserve.”
Seeing my determination, Denise nodded.
As I stopped at the villa’s entrance, Denise left with worry.
I walked into the house and was met with Leland’s complex gaze, while Caitlyn sat on his lap, crying in a fragile manner.
Leland, please, let me take charge of the Mississippi project. I feel like I haven’t achieved anything as the deputy president, and the shareholders won’t approve of me. I need to prove myself to them.”
Caitlyn leaned on Leland’s shoulder as she spoke, clearly trying to annoy me.
Jealous? Not at all. I smiled slightly and crossed my arms.”Why should the collaboration I’m handling be handed over to you? Don’t you think it is ethical to take credit for someone else’s hard work?”

My question prompted Leland to speak in a deep tone,”Go get some water for me and Caitlyn.”
I pointed at my nose, staring at Leland in disbelief. Was he ordering me?
He nodded. “Don’t forget that I’m the one who has taken care of you since you were a child. I can control you and your finances. The three hospitals you acquired are now under my control.”
I rolled my eyes, feeling angry, and turned to pour water only for Leland.
Caitlyn was upset.”Leland, how can you let Ms. Perez serve us water? Everyone in the company knows about us having an affair. They’re all talking
about me behind my back.”
I didn’t even bother to respond to her, looking at Leland with a cold gaze. What more could I say?
He was my husband, who had taken care of me for over a decade, yet now he brought his new love home.
I wanted to curse and figure out what he was thinking.
Was he trying to punish me?
