After days of searching for Scarlett Adler, they had found no trace of her.
Inside the hotel room, the three of them were on the verge of depression.
Tara lay sprawled on the couch, watching First busy at the computer. She couldn’t help but speak up, “Do you think something might have happened to Scarlett by now?”
As soon as she said it, both First and Second turned their attention to her.
Seeing their anxious expressions, Tara quickly added, “I’m just guessing, don’t worry!”
“Why do you say that?” Second asked, looking at her.
“Think about it. We’ve been here for days without a single lead. If even First can’t find anything, isn’t it reasonable to think something might be wrong?”
Hearing this, the two finally relaxed a bit.
“No way. We talked to Scarlett on the phone just yesterday!” Second assured.
“Really?”
Second nodded.
Tara sat up straight. “And she didn’t say anything?”
Second shook his head, looking disappointed. “No, nothing…”
Seeing their disheartened expressions, Tara could guess their feelings. After a moment of thought, she spoke, “Scarlett probably doesn’t want to drag you into her troubles, so she’s keeping her distance. Think about it, she…”
“If Scarlett can evade First’s watchful eyes, she must have some skills. So, don’t worry too much,” Tara said.
First replied, “That’s not what you said earlier!”
“Well, I didn’t know the situation earlier!” Tara shrugged.
First didn’t say anything more and continued to focus on the computer.
After pondering for a moment, he couldn’t resist and hacked into Chris’s computer.
He just wanted to see if there was any news,
As soon as he accessed Chris’s computer, he noticed Chris was tracking a location.
First perked up immediately. He knew Chris had been helping Dad track Scarlett’s whereabouts lately. This could be a clue.
Following the trail of information Chris was investigating, First decided to take a look as well.
When he finally saw the location, his eyes narrowed.
Second glanced at him, “What’s up? Why are you zoning out?”
“Chris was checking a location. Do you think it could be related to Scarlett?” First asked.

Tara spoke up softly, “What can you really see through a computer screen?”
First and Second looked up at her.
“If we’re going to do this, we should just go and see for ourselves!” Tara raised an eyebrow at them.
So.
Half an hour later, the three of them arrived at the location.
Looking at the address, Second frowned, “Are you sure this is the right place?”
First checked his watch, “Yeah, this is it!”
“But why is the location showing up as a bar?”
“How would I know?” First replied.
However, Tara gazed at the bar’s entrance, a glimmer of excitement in her beautiful eyes. Honestly, it had been a while since she last visited a bar, and she felt a bit nostalgic. With a slight smile, she said, “What if Scarlett is inside?”
“Scarlett doesn’t like places like this!” First protested.
“No one said Scarlett wanted to be here, but what if she’s meeting someone?” Tara suggested.
At this point, none of them could be certain.
“Well, why don’t we just go in and find out?” With that, Tara led the way inside.
First and Second exchanged a glance and followed along.
Inside the bar.
The atmosphere was buzzing.
It was the first time First and Second had ever been in a bar. It was just like what they’d seen on TV–loud, bustling, with all sorts of people, men and women alike. The two of them trailed behind Tara.
Tara seemed quite at ease leading the way, turning back to remind them, “Stick close, don’t get lost. It’s hard to find anyone in here.”
First rolled his eyes, “Do you think we’re three–year–olds?”
“Not three, maybe two threes at most!”
First was speechless.
Second said nothing, simply following Tara to an empty spot.
Tara raised a hand, and a server quickly approached.
“A bottle of beer, and then two…” Tara glanced back at the two, then smiled at the server, “Two glasses of juice.”
The server nodded and went to get the drinks.

The three of them sat on a bench, with First and Second looking around, as if searching for something.
Tara looked at them and said, “If you find it, great. If not, don’t be too disappointed. Just think of it as a chance to relax.”
Tara knew she was just looking out for them, so they didn’t say much and simply nodded.
Then, Tara squinted her eyes, observing them closely. “You two haven’t been to a bar before, have you?”
First frowned. “Is that strange?”
Tara was about to respond when Second chimed in, “Scarlett doesn’t like places like this, so she never brought us.”
“What about Hugo?” Tara asked.
“You know our situation with Dad, right? We met him even later than we met you!”
Tara thought for a moment and realized that was true, especially since she had been involved in that situation.
With that in mind, she smiled slightly. “My bad.”
Saying this, Tara took a sip of her beer.
First and Second obediently sipped their juice.
As Tara drank, she glanced at them and noticed how well–behaved they looked. Her eyes narrowed.
