“Uncle, is my mom awake yet?” Lily asked.

“Not yet, but the doctor said she should be soon,” Hugo reassured her, placing some food in front of her. “Here’s breakfast

have some.”

Lily nodded, “Thank you, Uncle.”

She glanced at her brother, Jack, who also stepped forward with a smile, “Thanks.”

“Eat up,” Hugo said, gently patting Lily’s head. “I’m going to take some food to your grandpa.”
