Chapter 247 You Used to Be Fearless
# Finished
Claudia had no intention of spending the rest of her time in the troupe putting up with such passive–aggressive sniping. She’d rather prove herself from the start and shut them

Andrea stared at the sharp and cocky young woman in front of her, genuinely surprised that Claudia dared to initiate a public challenge.
But she had to admit–Claudia’s challenge brought out her competitive side.
Sure, picking on someone younger wasn’t the most gracious move, but she just couldn’t stand this arrogant Dracovian girl.
“Alright. Let’s set it for three days. In three days, we’ll perform this scene for the team. Since Tilda’s the lead and you know each other, you take her. I’ll handle the second female lead.”
She looked straight at Claudia. “The loser leaves, no matter their connections. If you lose badly, I won’t hesitate to kick you out.”
Claudia held out her hand. “It’s a deal.”
Andrea gave her a high five, holding her head up high. “I hope you live up to Florence’s praise.”
Their gazes met, crackling with competitive energy.
Standing nearby, Tilda’s nerves were all over the place.
Tilda trusted that Claudia wouldn’t bite off more than she could chew, but Andrea’s skill was nothing to scoff at. Part of her worried about losing, yet part of her was secretly excited to see Andrea put in her place for once.
That inner conflict made her beautiful face twist in worry.
Florence, meanwhile, just smiled gently.
It had been years since she’d seen Andrea this fired up and eager to compete.
She patted Tilda on the shoulder, then glanced at Claudia. “I’m looking forward to seeing what you both create.”
After the crowd dispersed, Tilda leaned weakly against the wall.
She started carefully, not wanting to hurt Claudia’s pride, “Ms. Lancaster, Andrea is really strong. Maybe you should check out some of her past work? You know … Know your enemy, know yourself. Better safe than sorry.”

Firushed
If Claudia felt unsure, they’d need to make a new plan.
Even if some of the solos hadn’t met Florence’s expectations, that didn’t mean Andrea wasn’t talented–sometimes it just came down to style.
But this competition was going to put Tilda and Andrea’s second female lead on stage together.
It wasn’t just about soloing–it was about outshining the competition while dancing side by side.
Claudia shot her a look and grinned. “You don’t trust me?”
In Dracovia, you never backed down from a fight, Tilda said. Back in Dracovia, she had always been bold enough to go head–to–head with Lydia, even without any backing.
Tilda froze.
Lately, she’d acted all cheerful on the surface, but the pressure was really getting to her.
This opportunity was everything to her, so she’d been walking on eggshells, afraid to complain or speak up. It was stifling.
She’d once been proud and outgoing in her own field.
Given her anxiety, she wouldn’t be able to perform at her best on stage.
No wonder Andrea was always picking on her dancing.
Claudia laughed and offered her some reassurance. “Don’t worry. Remember, even though it’s a competition, we still have to work together for this scene.”
Suddenly, Tilda understood. She whipped her head toward Claudia, her eyes shining.
Claudia just smiled and nodded.
