Shattered Rose He Held On Tight
Chapter 252 Mr R
Before Ryan could even finish smiling, a soft female voice spoke up behind them.
They all turned to see Tilda walking out a moment later. “Why?”
Tilda sighed. “She already has a boyfriend–no, wait. I should
say fiancé.”

Good thing Sterling hadn’t come to Marvonia this time. If he saw the way these guys were drooling after Claudia, he’d probably throw every one of them out of the theater on the spot.
Honestly, they could at least try to hide it better.
Ryan’s heart cracked at the news.
He tried to argue, his voice tight. “But … they’re not married yet, right? Maybe Ms. Lancaster would like someone like me better.”
The two guys beside him just stared, stunned.
So much for “Mr. Cool.” Apparently even Ryan could turn into a lovesick fool.
Tilda looked at him, her face unreadable. “Forget it. You don’t stand a chance.”
“Why not?” Ryan shot back, desperate now. “Who’s her fiancé, anyway? Is he really that handsome? That rich? Can he treat her better than I could?”
Tilda nodded seriously. “Yes. He’s better looking and richer–and let’s just say, Claudia means the world to him. So, yeah. Give it up.”
Ryan took that hit straight to the chest. His heart shattered all over again.
“I just can’t believe-”
Before he could finish, Tilda suddenly raised her voice. “Florence! Ryan says he wants to go after Claudia!”
She sold him out on the spot.
Florence, who had just stepped out of the theater, froze mid–step, staring at Ryan like he’d lost his mind. “Are you serious?”
Before he could answer, she cut him off, panic in her tone. “Don’t even think about it! If you still want to keep your lead role, stay out of trouble! Do you even know who her fiancé is?” She took a quick breath before blurting out, “Our sponsor–Mr. R!”

Florence had just gotten her dream choreographer and was thrilled about the new show. The last thing she needed was a scandal messing everything up–or losing her lead dancer over some ridiculous crush.
At the mention of that name, Ryan’s eyes widened.
“Wait–him?”
Coming from a wealthy family himself, Ryan had heard that name long before joining the troupe.
The man was said to be a mysterious financial genius, the kind who quietly pulled strings behind billion–dollar industries. Even high–level politicians wanted to win him over.
But few had ever seen his face—rumor had it he was both stunning and dangerous.
And that man was Claudia’s fiancé?
Ryan dropped his head, completely defeated.
Florence saw the realization sink in and finally relaxed. “Good. Keep your focus. Once the new show premieres, all your careers are gonna hit another level. Don’t do anything stupid.”
She paused, then added mercilessly, “Besides, Claudia’s way out of your league.”
Every guy there winced like they’d just been shot.
Tilda couldn’t help but burst out laughing.
Claudia, meanwhile, had no idea that Florence was one of the troupe’s major investors.
He’d said he wanted to let her chase her own dreams–but of course, he couldn’t actually not look out for her.
When it came to her work, he trusted her completely. Even when Andrea made things hard for Claudia, he never stepped in or threw his weight around as the sponsor.
But giving the troupe more funding and connections–helping the projects Claudia was part of reach a bigger stage–that was something he could do.
