Sterling quickly covered her mouth with a teasing grin. “Babe, do you really think I can do that?”

Claudia pouted and wrapped her arms around his neck. “Of course you can. Hmm … fine, just one week then.”

She wasn’t actually jealous. She was only taking this chance to bargain a little.

He was way too full of energy. Every night, she felt sore and tired, barely able to move. If things kept going like that, she was sure she’d collapse one day.

“Promise me, please!” she said, shaking his neck like a child.

Sterling caught her wiggling body, kissed her hand gently, and said, “Okay, you can rest tonight.”

Claudia slipped out of his arms and flopped onto the couch. “We’re done. No more love.”

Sterling leaned down and kissed her softly. “That’s fine. I’ve got enough love for both of us.”

Sure, she was trying to get on Kamila’s nerves, but Claudia and Sterling really were planning to have lunch together at the company cafeteria.

Compared to Kamila, who grew up spoiled, Sterling and Claudia were much more easygoing.

Also, the cafeteria was really famous for its great food. It had three or four floors full of different dishes, and every chef had to pass a hard test before working there.

The meals Kamila looked down on were the kind most people could only dream of.
