Chapter 364 I Regret It
Every escape route was blocked.
No one in the Lloyds could avoid what was coming.

Winnie just stood frozen. After a while, her legs gave out. She fell to her knees, clutching her chest as tears poured out.
No one else was there except Kamila. Finally, Winnie stopped pretending to be strong and broke down completely, letting all her fear and exhaustion spill out.
“I regret it. I truly do. I wish I could take it all back.” Her voice trembled as tears ran down her face, her whole body shaking violently.
She was the one who destroyed the Lloyds. She ruined his brothers and the next generation’s future.
They were supposed to shine, to keep the family name powerful and respected.
But now, everything was gone. And it was because of her.
“Aaaah—” Winnie’s cries sounded like they were tearing out her heart.
Kamila pulled Winnie into her arms, feeling her aunt’s pain.
She couldn’t tell anyone that maybe one reason Sterling hit them hard was that she’d once tried to have Claudia kidnapped.
Just like Winnie, Kamila had paid a stupidly high price for love.
She was completely lost.
Winnie was the only Lloyd left with any kind of authority, but even she couldn’t fix that. Was that how it ended for their family?
If accepting the truth meant staying sane, Kamila would rather lose her mind forever. She was so drained that she started resenting anyone who tried to bring her back to reality.
Sterling and Claudia both knew Winnie and Kamila were running around, begging for help to save the three Lloyd brothers.

“Everyone has gone into hiding. Nobody wants to get involved. I heard Corbin’s sentence is coming out soon. But Sterling truly scared people this time. Some are calling him “The Reaper‘ behind his back,” Whitney joked as she posed for Claudia’s painting.
The Lloyds weren’t just some random family–they were powerful. Yet Sterling took them down like it was nothing.
Most people thought they had it coming, though a few said they were just unlucky to cross paths with him.
“Unlucky? Please. Sterling might’ve been the one to finish them off, but they dug their own grave. If they hadn’t been so greedy and careless, they wouldn’t have fallen into the trap. Sterling is just getting rid of the bad guys,” Claudia said casually, brushing color onto her canvas like none of it bothered her.
The people pitying the Lloyds now seemed to forget that 20 years ago, Isabella and her son had gone through hell because of them.
And honestly, what the Lloyds did was way worse than what was being whispered about.
Whitney shuddered. “Alright, alright, I get it. You’re completely blind when it comes to your man.”
Claudia would stand by Sterling no matter what anyone said.
Even if he was truly a reaper or some kind of monster, she’d still gush about how perfect he
was.
But truthfully, the gossipers were just bored.
“Tsk, tsk, you two need to tone it down.” Whitney’s sharp eyes caught the red marks peeking from Claudia’s collar. She couldn’t help but smirk.
