Smack! Wilson’s hand landed hard across Lydia’s face.

He was trembling with rage, pointing at her, his hand shaking too badly to even form words.
Lydia lunged forward, trying to kick him, but Zane–eyes red with fury himself–held her back.
The next second, a panicked shout rang out, “Mom!” It was Clarence.
Lottie had fainted from the shock.
Chaos erupted. With a loud crash, another wine bottle smashed against Lydia’s head. The jagged half of the broken bottle scraped down from the corner of her eye to her chin, leaving a deep, bloody gash.
Turned out, while Lydia had everyone’s attention, Jasper, who’d been loosely watched, overheard her bringing up Claudia. Already unstable from Preston’s madness, he snapped again and launched another attack right then and there.
“Ahhh-!” As Lydia went down for the second time, screams filled the room. The disaster of a wedding finally came to an end.
Police cars and ambulances wailed on their way to the venue.
Tybalt’s hands were shaking. “Quick! Get everyone under control. No one says a word about what happened today.”
The Fentons‘ reputation was completely ruined.
A staff member grimaced. “Mr. Fenton, the wedding was live–streamed. The internet’s already canceling the Fentons.”
“What?”
With a roar of disbelief, Tybalt couldn’t catch his breath and passed out from rage.
One wedding, and half the guests were knocked out or arrested. Even the bride and groom were headed to the station. The wedding host stood in stunned silence, the light gone from his
eyes.
Who could understand? This was the worst day of his entire career.

Chapter 374 Peace Tastes Like Milk Jelly
But unlike the devastated host, Clint was in a great mood. Mission accomplished, time to disappear
As for the people he brought with him to testify against Lydia, they followed Sterling’s legal team into the waiting police cars to give their statements.
After Claudia found them, she did everything she could. She treated those who could still be helped, offered money to those struggling to get by, and gave referrals or connections to those who’d had to give up on their dreams.
The past couldn’t be undone, but at least she could try to make their futures a little easier.
Thankfully, after witnessing Lydia’s downfall today, most of them probably felt some sense of
closure.
Lydia wasn’t getting out again. Whatever she thought she’d accomplish by getting out of prison and stirring up more chaos, in the end she just circled right back to where she started. Who knew what was going through her head now?
Watching the downfall of the woman who’d tormented her for over a decade, Claudia didn’t feel joy or triumph. Just peace. Quietly, she curled into Sterling’s arms, wrapped her arms around his neck, and smiled. “I’m craving milk jelly.”
Sterling smiled back, kissed her gently, and scooped her up from the couch with one arm like she weighed nothing. She sat in his arms like a child as he said, “Then I’ll make you milk jelly.”
The wedding fiasco made waves. Lydia wasn’t the only one under fire, the Fentons and the Lancasters got dragged through the mud online too.
That night, Sterling answered a call on Claudia’s behalf. It was Wilson, calling from the hospital.
He said, “I’m sorry. As your father … I failed you.”
After all those years, he finally remembered the version of himself who once cradled his baby daughter and said only the best man in the world would be good enough for her.
Sterling didn’t accept the apology on Claudia’s behalf. He just replied calmly, “You should be grateful there was a time you treated her well.”
