She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 161

“You always act so high and mighty, quick to throw a punch whenever you don’t get your way. All those rumors came from your good friend Giselle—why don’t you go after her? Afraid you’ll look guilty?”

“You love to hit people so much, I spend every day at home walking on eggshells, terrified I’ll set you off. If you don’t want me around anymore, I can move out—promise I’ll stay away from Mom and Dad too. Just leave the people around me alone. Don’t hurt them.”

Celine couldn’t have played the victim any better.

A few classmates were so moved by her teary-eyed speech that some were near tears themselves.

And when you thought about it, she kind of had a point.

Sabrina was definitely domineering—she had a reputation for getting physical.

Celine’s home life must be awful, otherwise why would she air all this in front of everyone?

“Do you really look like someone I bully? Take a look at your clothes, your shoes, your bag—aren’t they all better than mine? Don’t start fake-crying here. It’s disgusting.” Sabrina waved her pen sharply.

Everyone’s eyes flicked between Celine and Sabrina, suspicion clouding their faces.

No one could tell who was telling the truth.

“God, the fake angel act is suffocating,” someone drawled with a laugh.

The voice came from the doorway—Shawn had just strolled into the classroom.

Most people were scared of Marshall and Conrad, but Shawn wasn’t.

Celine had two knights in shining armor behind her—Marshall and Conrad.

They were enough to make any boy who admired Celine think twice about approaching her. Most just contented themselves with silent crushes or anonymous gifts.

Celine’s eyes flashed red with anger, but she didn’t dare snap back at Shawn.

He dragged a chair out with a loud scrape, slouched back, and propped both feet right on the desk.

His big shoes pointed directly at Celine.

Embarrassed, Celine flushed and scooted her chair sideways, trying to avoid his feet.

“Sabrina, what do you want from me before you’ll leave my friends alone? If it’s my life you want, I’ll give it to you. Would it make you happy if I just died right here? If that’s what it takes to satisfy you, I’ll do it—just please, stop hurting the people I care about.”
