Stand Me Up? I'll Marry His Billionaire Uncle novel Chapter 109

"And another thing—don't come looking for me again. If you do, I'll tell Uncle Stellan, and he'll scold you right along with the rest of them!"

If they wanted her to take the blame, she might as well go all in.

Sunny strode away, leaving Tristan rooted to the spot, stunned.

Did she really just threaten to tattle to Uncle Stellan?

Who was Uncle Stellan, anyway? No way he'd take her side.

The only reason Stellan was upset this time was because his siblings had messed with company business. Did Sunny seriously think Stellan would step in just to defend her?

Besides, Uncle Stellan had a girlfriend now. There was no chance he'd stick up for his nephew's ex-fiancée.

Tristan's face flushed then drained of color. He dropped back into the driver's seat and slammed his fist against the steering wheel.

All he'd done was say a few sharp words, but she'd gone and fired right back.

Did she always have to be so stubborn? Why was it that when something happened, she never came to him first, but always turned to someone else?

The thought left him restless and irritated.

He didn't stop to examine why, only lit a cigarette and brooded in silence.

Sitting in her car, Sunny mulled things over. So Stellan knew.

Had he really stood up for her and told Luna off?

She felt the debt she owed him growing heavier.

*Thank you for today.*

After a moment's hesitation, Sunny finally sent the message.

Stellan's dark eyes lingered on his phone, the faintest hint of a smile tugging at his lips.

*No need to thank me. Next time, come straight to me. I'm your boyfriend—and your future husband.*

Grace Quinn rushed in just in time to see her daughter get dragged out the front door by two men.

"Who are you people? Put my daughter down right now or I'm calling the police!"

Sunny crossed her arms, cool and unbothered. "Go ahead, Ms. Quinn. Maybe I'll ask the police what they think about Chloe spreading lies about me."

"I was going to give you both a couple of days to move out on your own. But since you won't take the hint, I'll have my people help you pack."

The house staff stood frozen in shock. No one dared intervene—the men Sunny brought were tall, strong, and efficient, clearing out Chloe's things without the slightest hesitation.

There was nothing the staff could do, especially with the master of the house away.

Grace and Chloe stared in horror as suitcase after suitcase landed on the front lawn, with the rest of their belongings tossed right after.

Chloe was livid. "Mom, call Dad! She's lost her mind!"

Grace's face twisted as she fought to keep her composure. She shot a video, sent it to her husband, and called him, her voice trembling with outrage.

"Sean, look at what Sunny's doing to us—isn't this going too far?"
